Question...

Ya Ya wrong forum but I need an answer quickly:

I'm trying to burn Empty Room and the other links that were given to us in the PrinceFam chat room. When I click on it it tells me it's not a format they recognize. How can I change these to a wav or mpeg?

I need to get these on a cd before I leave for my new job. The temp doesn't need them smile

Thanks for any help...

Shaus I'm using a current version of roxio. This is the edit message I get:

EmptyRoom_Live.mpga file has an unrecognized extension. Valid extensions are wav MP3 and WMA.

I'm not very good with these types of things...sorry!

naaa, you need to define in the "view" to show recognized extentions too. then you can see the mp3 extention and be able to change it.

I dunno carrie...I have to convert all my files to wav inorder to burn them. I use wimamp, and what I have to to is...go to...Options, Prefrences,Plug-ins/output, I have to change the output to Nullsoft Diskwriter plug-in, this has settings...like where do you want your wav files to be located...then ok outta all of that and select all the files you want converted...push play and it will go through all the files and convert them to wav and stick them in said folder, and then you should be able to burn those wav files to CD. Ugh! I hope that helps smile
