As shaky as the Cowboys can be, I must say it was great being at that game yesterday, great atmosphere. But something tells me the Eagle gon' have something ready for that ass next week, but Wade's D has been killing 'em this year.

Snoozefest . . . . I loved watching them beat the Eagles so I enjoyed it, plus there were some great runs by Felix Jones and Marion Barber. And great hits by the defense . . . simply loverly

If Donovan plays like he did yesterday(missing receivers, fumbling the snap), Eagles are one and done. Philly had no answer for a hot Cowbitch defense. Ware and Spencer are playing lights out, and who's this Jenkins cat?
With Brady busted up and no Welker, Ravens have a shot. Jets too, if they're able to pound the ball, play tough d, and no fuck-ups from Sanchez.

With Brady busted up and no Welker, Ravens have a shot. Jets too, if they're able to pound the ball, play tough d, and no fuck-ups from Sanchez. The whole defense was doing the fool. Even them bitchass corners managed not to fuck up, they shut their receivers down in the last game too. Ratliff, Brooking and Sensabaugh all had good games. I give Keith Brooking a lot of credit for becoming the heart of that defense. Demarcus is a great guy but he's pretty soft spoken but that Brooking is a crazy hype ass mofo. Wade was brilliant for bringing him in after the Falcons thought he was finished. I hated to hear about Welker, both ACL AND MCL blown??? With his running style his career is a wrap. As for the Eagles, it wasn't all on McNabb. Westbrook only had 17 yards that ain't good and their D was nonexistent [Edited 1/4/10 9:40am]

And these fools who hammered the Colts for not playing their starters in a meaningless game should STFU. Imagine if that happened to Reggie Wayne or Dallas Clark? What would they say then?

In a meaningless game. Yeah, I don't get the criticism of the Colts at ALL. That Tony Dungee is a genius mofo tho. This is his second time leaving a team with all the pieces in place to win a Superbowl. He needs to quit tripping and get back to coaching. [Edited 1/4/10 9:43am]

Philly's smallish on defense - they could not deal with Dallas' size on the offensive line - even Flo did a good job. Their secondary reminded me of the Giants. [Edited 1/4/10 9:45am]

So Uptonw, even if they get rid of Sheridan what they gon' do about Eli's inferiority complex?

Should the Bucs give Raheem another chance?

Surprisingly, Eli and the WRs aren't the problem. The entire defense needs a makeover - the only untouchables are Tuck & Osi, and I have to hope Kenny Phillips comes back healthy. The O-line is breaking down, and we need another back to help Jacobs, who was banged-up most of the year.

They should(he's only a rookie coach), but in today's win-now NFL, I doubt it. Especially with so many big-name coaches out there.

Ummm, Eli only managed ONE touchdown, especially after last week's game where I don't think he threw a touchdown at all and they lost 41-9. That's a problem, [Edited 1/4/10 10:04am]

Well, damn . . . Rumor is Schottenheimer is the frontrunner
AP source: Bills fire entire coaching staff ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP)—The Buffalo Bills opened their offseason with a purge by firing interim coach Perry Fewell and the rest of his staff on Monday. Though Fewell was dismissed, he will still interview for the team’s vacant head coaching job, a personal familiar with the decisions told The Associated Press. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the team has not announced the dismissals. The shakeup came a day after the Bills (6-10) closed their season with a 30-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts. FoxSports.com first reported the firings. Days after firing head coach Dick Jauron in November, Bills owner Ralph Wilson had said no job was safe as he was preparing to revamp his entire front office once the season ended. The overhaul already began last week, when national scout Buddy Nix was promoted to general manager, filling a spot that had been filled by the team’s chief operating officer Russ Brandon, who had no football background. The Bills closed their 50th season by missing the playoffs for a 10th straight year, and capping a decade in which they enjoyed only one winning season—a 9-7 finish in 2004. Fewell, the team’s defensive coordinator, finished with a 3-4 record as the interim coach. Except for highly respected special teams coordinator Bobby April, most of the Bills assistants, including Fewell, had been hired by Jauron. The timing of the shakeup comes as the Bills embark on their fifth coaching search since Hall of Famer Marv Levy retired after the 1997 season. Former Steelers coach Bill Cowher has been mentioned as a candidate. Several media outlets, including ESPN and The Buffalo News, have reported the Bills have spoken to Cowher. Hell to the NO!..He showed he was in over his head all year..bad decisions ever since training camp..It's not all his fault tho..he was hired to be the defensive coordinator and they didn't find anyone for the HC position so he took it..He need some years as just a DC..The owners are so cheap,he just might come back and if so,Dungy need to teach him the ropes during the offseason

Goodell really needs to sit down somewhere if he does this bs.
Commissioner Roger Goodell says the NFL will consider offering incentives to teams playing late-season games to discourage them from resting their starters for the playoffs.

This year, yes. But at least we had a nice two-year run - Super Bowl in 2007-08 & 12-4 the following season(with the second-hardest schedule in the NFL). If idiot didn't shoot himself, Giants would have won another title. Giants just fired Bill Sheridan. [Edited 1/4/10 14:42pm]

We did not see Giant football after Week 5. Sheridan just paid the price, and I hope Gilbride's next. Our first pick in the draft - Brandon Spikes from Florida. Case closed. I think our new DC will be Dick Jauron. He has history with Coughlin. [Edited 1/4/10 14:53pm]

[Edited 1/4/10 8:49am] Bengals have been lethargic lately but i'll take them in a close game against a rookie qb. It wouldn't surprise me if the Ratbirds upset the Patriots but if Tom Brady is healthy i'll pick them in a close game against the Ratbirds. The Eagles o-line is a big concern. They lost their center a couple of games ago and you can't be weak up the middle against the Cowboys d. Cowboys by 10. My NFC darkhorse Cardinals will handle the Packers by 10. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
