Am I The Only 1... am i the only 1 who WISHED my 7month old could speak 2 me? sometimes i "WISH" he could just say "dad... i'm hungry" or "dad... change me i'm wet"...
i'm a 1st time dad & when his Mom goes 2 work well, sometimes i feel Lost & Confused. he's a handsome little version of me (i guess) but i get lost sometimes... from a 1st time dad... any advice (Ladies.. GentleMen)... Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

You're not the only one...  Babies "talk" to us in their own way... their cries are different when they're hungry, wet or sleepy. You'll enventually begin to notice the differences, so don't worry.
The biggest piece of advice I can give is that if they appear upset and you've checked everything out... diaper change, food, etc... a lot of times they want to be left alone. Too much handling on a little baby can frustrate them. And, don't worry, soon enough he will be talking to you non-stop! | |

Be careful what you wish for!!! Pretty soon he won't stop talking!!!
Don't get frustrated. Be happy you have time alone with him. Most dad's don't get that. | |

Have you checked out and dad support groups? These can be a great way to get together with others and socialize. You'll be less alone.
If that doesn't work, play some Prince. | |

my son just gets on my NERVES!!! i don't know what he wants when he wants it so i just give him a bottle of formula or somethin'...
4 xample... he wouldn't go 2 sleep "last nite" i work from 4 til midnite & when i come home i wanna chill & then he wakes up & 2am & wants 2 stay up... i almost "Lost It" last nite!!! Peace ... & Stay Funky ...

I sometimes with my cats could talk to me. I pretty much got all their hints down, but sometimes I want more.
