i was at this site that shall remain nameless and they had a whole thread for 'Deathlist 2009', at first as i was reading i thought it was in bad taste as they were awarding points on celeb related deaths, their age, cause of death etc,

i didn't take part but one guy had me as he was ruthlessly willing certain people to be on their way.

I think by the time Swayze kicked the bucket, he was jumping hoops. I think he ended up 'winning'.

But is it wrong to pick ten celebs you think might go in this next year? Does something like this invite Karma?

Does anyone on the org have a deathlist?

It only invites karma if you are aware that your actions is harming somebody. So if you know by participating in an online list that it will harm other people reading it emotionally, then it's inviting karma.

It's one of the reasons buddhist can eat meat--if you didn't kill the animal and have no awareness that it was slaughtered specifically for you you've encored no real karmic consequences. This is weird to me because just eating meat alone should come with the awareness that you're supporting slaughterhouses, but oh well.

it still queers me how it was predicted when Michael Jackson would die basically to the damn day....and yet no one really mentioned it. I still think it was a set up/murder....

Yeah, it's like having a football pool. You have people on your list, you can't edit the list, and some people put money into the pool each month their people don't die. When your people do die, you get money. Or you can do it just for fun w/o the money. You're just guessing who is going to croak next.
