I remember first seeing it on HBO or Showtime back in the late 90's and loving it...well mainly the best thing about it was Scotti. Did anyone watch when they had gay night on HBO? Yes, Showtime! I always got the 2 mixed up. My friend had the channel and I would always watch all of that stuff. I'm still mad they ended QAF (although they show some reruns on LOGO.) And yes, I liked Queer Duck too.
Do they still show any of that stuff on Showtime? If not, when did they take all of it off? When QAF ended? | |

When QAF ended? i dont think so. you should watch "united states of tara" though. the gay son storyline is the best part. qaf was good for the time, but it's already seeming a little behind the times. it was getting silly toward the end. you should watch "tales of the city" which is similar, but less soap opera silly. tara has probably the strongest gay character tv has to offer right now. the cool thing is the parents totally make his being gay a non-issue, but his storyline with the straight christian closet case is the best thing on the show. Nick scotti is the only Caucasian singer I know who sounds like The great Teddy Pendergrass. Shame he should of made it bigger then he did I suppose the association with Madonna didn't help his credability.
