very happy 4-u nope, ur not wrong at all... your absolutly correct. and the ratio of good songs to bad songs also needed to be taken into account. Funny but it's this CD that got me out for a walk yesterday. Hated the darn thing so much that I am sure that flung it someplace. I really wanted to hear a couple of the songs again though and since it was only $4.99 at Target I went there; road halfway and walked the other half. I hate Dance4me because to me it's disrespectful to God and the congregation and a song about a middle age man getting a lap dance by a well heeled vixen who makes house calls doesn't do much for me. Since I ALWAYS interpret the song that way, I can't help but hate it. The walk was fine. As you know nyse the weather around here is fine until about 3:30pm and then it gets unbearably cold. The change is amazing. The only way I can make myself walk in this is get off the bus a good 20 minute walk from my house so I am forced to complete it. I need to go to toys r us to get something for one of my daughters friends and maybe a new leapster cartridge for my daughter. I am hoping to take my daughter to Boston too. I had wanted to take her to Providence for a change but the way public transportation is set up I would have to travel to Boston first. Time to get my car back on the road and stop spending the money on other stupid crap. oooh ... ead flower I can dig what your saying about dance for me. but i realy don't take it as Prince in a strip club... I see it as prince sitting in his secluded corner seeing a hot young tender across the floor and he is thinking these things... I know about the cold around here... but it is starting to change. i went for my usual 40min walk today. and i was excited at how the sun shined rays of heat on my skin. But it wont last for long. i hear rumors of another storm a brewing... but yea I would do boston befor providence. boston has wonderful museums ! | |

No, I meant it when I said one that makes house calls. My daughter loves the Science museum and we can use the same pass we do for the Worcester Ecotarium. During the Spring I would like to take her to Providence because it's different and has a zoo. She has not been to Roger Williams for at least 2 years. Today I am babysitting and I get to use the computer so I can check back on what people write later on in the day. We are getting snow right now and we may get up to 8 inches. Last time we were suppose to get six inches and we barely got 3. Maybe in the spring we can see if we could have a New England get together. On the flipside, I've had a fantastic holiday!!!!! Those of you on my facebook can see some photos. See you all in a day or two! yummm My like Italian reds, like a Barolo the best. They are yummy with Italian foods and strong cheese. I am not that crazy about whites unless a red wine is too strong for the food (example light fish such as grouper). I use to work in restaurants were we pretty much had to be our own wine steward so at one time I was up on wines. I have been a single mother for 8 years and have gotten out of the loop on what wines are the real gems. That's something I should think about, putting a little money aside to go for a really delicious adult meal. You know some place that does not offer fake kraft mac and cheese or chicken fakenuggets on the children's menu. I've eaten some bizarre shit over the years over there!!! I am afraid of asking you questions because I am quite ignorant of Japanese food. I only know the few east Asian styles that I have tasted. O.K. Did anything ever look completely gross but taste yummy? Did anything look yummy but taste gross? Is it ever so hot and spicy that you really can't taste the food itself? Do they use chocolate in any of their deserts? What is their yummiest desert? Have their portions gotten americanized (bigger) over the years? Does the food fill you up for a while or do you find yourself famished after just a couple of hours? O.K. those 7 questions should give you a starting point. I use to drink it often when I lived in Provincetown. At the time that I lived there, there was still a sizable Portugese (spelling?) community. They also had great kale soup that I absolutely loved. I don't think I ever ate kale until I moved there. It was not until I moved down south that I ever tasted collard greens, another healthy green. Down south they are offered as a vegetable side dish in many places. I could just eat a giant bowl of those things. I am afraid of asking you questions because I am quite ignorant of Japanese food. I only know the few east Asian styles that I have tasted. O.K. Did anything ever look completely gross but taste yummy? Hell yes! There was this side dish I had at Kurokawa Onsen that basically looked like long babypoo green elongated turds, and was actually a mountain weed, but tasted really good in a vege kind of way. Deadflow3r said: Did anything look yummy but taste gross?
Natto. The first time I saw it I thought "oh yum soy beans" but as it's actually fermented and rotten it stinks, tastes foul and should be shot. Don't EVER try it!!! Deadflow3r said: Is it ever so hot and spicy that you really can't taste the food itself?
Not too much spicy stuff over there....I don't think chili made it to the islands in time before the cuisine was developed. The spiciest food is in Korean restaurants over there. Deadflow3r said: Do they use chocolate in any of their deserts?
Chocolate is EVERYWHERE. They're big fans of German-style cakes and French-style breads so there's always chocolate torte or croissants or whatever. They have some awesome chocolate snacks called Pokky and a company called Meiji chocolate that is just yummo. You can also find what they call "Nama" (raw) chocolate which is really nice cubes of chocolate without most of the sugar, so it's like eating melt in your mouth cubes of cocoa. I'm already missing it and kicking myself for not bringing a box of Meiji white chocolate back with me. THat stuff can make me orgasm when I see a box of it in the supermarket Deadflow3r said: What is their yummiest desert?
My favourite is Ichigo Daifuku. Daifuku is basically rice mixed in with sugar and beat into a sticky dough, then wrapped around a filling (usually sweet red beans) Ichigo is strawberry. God it's the BEST!!! Deadflow3r said: Have their portions gotten americanized (bigger) over the years? Nope, not at all. Everything is micro in Japan. A coke is about 250ml, a burger would be half the size of over there in the states. It's probably why there are so few large people over there.....unless they're addicted to sukiyaki and all you can eat restaurants!
Deadflow3r said: Does the food fill you up for a while or do you find yourself famished after just a couple of hours? I have no idea. I tend to go in winter so just naturally eat non-stop. Also I have to keep eating my favourites like Pizzaman because I know I can't get them back home, so I tend to just overeat there. Weird because normally I eat like a bird.
