About 2 weeks ago I am on the bus. ('cause you all know I am poor). After I sit down this young, maybe 17 -21 say, black girl sits infront of me. she is medium height with big Bambi eyes and high cheekbones. Her skin is dark enough that it has that perfect poreless look. Once her head is infront of mine I get to look at the nastiest thing I have ever seen on a human head recently. Her fake hair was so rough looking. It looked exactly like the hair on one of those "shrinking heads" they use to sell in scary stores. It had inchwide strips of maroon "highlights" and the part where it was affixed to her head was nearly an inch long so I was relieved to know this nasty mess did not actually come out of her head.

Now I am white and always had gorgeous hair when I was younger. It was the one thing I did like about myself.
However this girl had truly beautiful eyes and cheekbones that she could have played up and the cheekbones were actually hidden by the messy tresses. I do not have such cheekbones and if I had them would show them off. She probably had a nice neck aswell.


This is my question to all people who date black women; Do you really think that they look better with that stuff on their head???

Personally if I was a black woman that couldn't grow my hair long I'd keep it short and show off my pretty shaped head, great jawline, high cheekbones etc.

Fuck the phone/internet company. Their mistakes made me spend a boring ass night without Internet

Why not braids or a jazzy short hairstyle? I've no problem whatsoever with extensions and weaves in moderation and when they are done right and look good. However, when I was a kid everybody had hair. What happened? Why are all these women famous and non-famous going the fake hair route and why are they not keeping it looking fabulous?

Ok I will concede that Kourtney Kardashians' weave looks fab. Her sisters, um...not so much.
