I thought so too...but that pillow colour is nice.

Both these colours are modern and fresh...I find the darker greens can make a space look really dated - unless it's matched with something light and bright.

nod
I feel without the coolness in a colour it will look dated
the blue is funky and fresh

Yeah I don't want darker - I want a more translucent statement then the bolder pumpkin pie walls

The pillow is along the lines of what I was thinking.

But I'd introduce a third color into the scheme as well.
Something you could switch out without having to change the whole room if you feel like changing.

We change stuff around fairly often.

You might find more than one color to pull your look together.

i was thinking the greens in the stem of that sun flower.

its best to use TWO different shades of green along with the one shade of orange. or two different shades of orange with one shade of green.

two colors dont work well and feel less luxurious than if you use two similar colors along with a complimentary color.

That's a good choice too. The dark brown and light blue with some white is a very popular and modern looking scheme. A bit of alteration w/ the pumpkin is good too. Almost gives it a very modern middle eastern feel.

Even if the room has only 3 - 1/2 walls to paint ? the bottom 1/2 is solid red oak waynescoating ~ floor is solid red oa hardwoods

this offset room has NO paint yet- just white upper walls - it opens up to the room that has 2 very small walls painted the pumpkin colour

The room with the 2 small pumpkin walls - no

this 3 - 1/2 wall side room is the room that is getting painted - and she would like some shade of greenish - which will also looknice with all this natural red oak
