I'm so addicted to the show and the books...haven't had a chance to continue reading in a couple months but I intend to finish them all before the new season starts...

Loved the first book. Second book was okay. I'm on the 4th. I've been on the 4th for about 3 months, and I've started 3 other books in the meantime. It's getting to be too much of a slog to keep up with the series.

I didn't read the first book until True Blood started. Once I started reading them I could not put them down. I'm so glad that the series was so far along. I think I got to book 7 before I had to wait at all.

I HATE the wait. bawl I keep telling myself I'll not read another book series. lol

Book 4 is my favorite! woot!

I just bought them all basically at once and read them until there was nothing else new to read.

Then I started reading them again.

I have mixed feelings about it, but overall it's great that they are different because then the show still surprises!

There are some things from the books that I would have LOVED to have seen translated into the show but were not so that's disappointing. Then there's Lafayette who would have been dead at the end of Season 1 if they'd followed the books so him still being alive is a definite bonus lol

I've not bothered with the books because I thought there would be no point. Are they different enough from the show to make reading them worthwhile? Is it still worth reading them even with the shock of Lafayette's death spoiled? wink lol
