PrintableI actually have a couple of stalkers from my alt.music.prince (AMP) days. Someone has constantly impersonated me, and never revealed themselves. They'll spell my name was Ernest L Sewer, or Ernest L Sevvell (two V's to look like a W), etc. They have dug into my blog, my YouTube page (when I had a letter read on CNN's Cafferty File), and mocked everything. I've not been on AMP for 3 years, as my ISP has stopped carrying newsgroups, yet when I went into Google Groups to see if any of the old buds were there, I STILL saw posts up under the fake me. They once transcribed my letter from CNN and changed it around to read as something CNN would never put on the air. The letter was only a couple of years ago, so they're still fascinated and obsessed with me.
For those that know Richard Dower (liberation), the stalker has lied on him using my name, saying he had AIDS and died. Richard is quite alive and well in Ireland (I think he lives in Ireland, I forget). They've dropped the N word under my name, and other horrible things that I'd never say. They've even impersonated Richard a few times I think. I can understand that nonsense when I was on the group, maybe, but now that I'm gone and they're STILL doing it 3 years later????? If there was ever a  or absolute definition of a loser on the internet, it's that person.
The posts haven't effected my life though. No one's ever called me and said, "I heard you had AIDS!" or whatever. The thing this fool forgets is that my friends and family know me, and know me well, and no rumor or bullshit they put out there is going to change or really effect my life at all. I kind of pity them actually. That's probably the closest I've come to hearing a "rumor". | |

Well, let's see. Let's go back to school days...
I was apparently a Devil Worshipper because I debated Christianity. I was apparently a lesbian because I listened to Prince, and had a photo of Apples in my locker. I was apparently poor, because after someone came to my house and saw my vinyl collection, they assumed that I could afford cassettes or CDs. (Which I had a massive collection of, mind you.) SOOO... School was fun.
Adult life... worst I usually get is that I'm a whore because I have mostly male friends, and that I had all sorts of cosmetic surgery (ie: nose, lips, breasts, etc.). Oh well, I don't care. Let 'em say what they want.  ACRYLIC

Your first point made me think: My dad came to my salon (Regis Salon) and came in for a haircut near closing time. No biggie. I figured he'd give me a ride home when I closed, and he did. He felt the "need to talk to" me. He and my stepmother had determined that I was a devil worshipper. NO evidence to prove it, just their own hunch. "Son, who is your god?" Um.....WHAT? Years earlier while I was in the Navy, he accused me of being in love with my own aunt (my mom's sister). I have no idea where my dad and stepmom get these absurd ideas from. Honestly.... in love with my aunt? REALLY?! Yeeeeesh, get over yourself, pop. (I told him that too after the devil worship thing.) | |
