Shorter nails with dark colors on someone that was clearly left of center in her style is hot only in that the entire package goes together, but on the average woman, I generally prefer lighter shades if any color at all.
Painted toenails are cute. But only if you have cute toes to begin with obviously. mine are like this I can't see you in that color. What did the rest of your ensemble look like that night?

I'm nearly wearing same thing today, except it's my robot shirt and now I have clear frosty nail polish and snowflake earrings and sneakers (OK, so the only things that are the same are the jeans and hoodie )

Stephon Marbury paints his toenails too.

I don't care about paint either way -- kinda depends on the whole outfit, I guess -- but I definitely notice how a person takes care of their nails. I appreciate good grooming. "What's 'non-sequitur' mean? Do I look it up in a Fag-to-English dictionary?"

I keep my nails short. I could wear them longer, I have good nails as far as not brittle, peeling, etc.
If I polish, its usually my toes, and I will do something fun...teal or something, but with my hands, its just a pain. I keep them nice, but taking the time to polish them, when they will chip too soon...my hub doesn't care anyway...and while I might do it for myself on occasion, having them painted isn't that big of a deal. I have to shake people's hands so much that worrying about chips and such is more trouble than its worth.
