If time travel was possible and you could go to any time in the future for only 12 hours and return. How far into the future would you go? What would you do?

There are two possibilities here.

I would either travel 10,000 years in the future and for 12 hours try and write down every possible 'advancement' that we humans have undergone and take that back with me in the hopes of somehow speeding the process along (Thereby altering the future).

Or....
I would travel 10 years down the road and spend all my time looking up technology, industry, and communications stocks and when I return invest accordingly.

I personally, would not like to go to the future. I mean, i am more interested in the past. but, maybe the year 3000, 'cause their might be some blade runner stuff going on. I so want to wear that see through plastic coat, that one replica uses in the movie. In the 3000 i would totally start a SynthPop Future Wave Band, Called Decadence of Roses.

I'd go either six months or a year or so. Get lottery numbers, and see where I'm at in my life. Also to see how good or bad Prince's latest album is, and then I could review it before it came out.

I think anything to generate tons of money would be great but that is only how I feel right now.This may change real soon for some more altruistic ideas.

I would go to the year of 2035 so...

1) I can see if Protege, Myle and I still say "ota."
2) I can see if I'm able to log in to the Christina Aguilera forums.
3) I can find out if Prince ever stopped being a pussy.
4) I can see if Gaga took over the world or not.
