I like the new season Hell I just love the series in general "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

The first few years were fabulous, but they're beating the shit out of a dead horse now. I can't even handle it now that JD is gone, I'll probably cancel my season pass

I wish they had kept all the interns from the last season. It seems they just kept Sunny and Denise "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I miss weird Howie. I think Sunny is a guest star; Denise is the only recurring character from last year. I don't mind the new season, but I loathe the new version of "Superman." I prefer the song they used for the Interns webisodes. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I was under the impression that because of the crappy ratings Scrubs was getting when it was still on NBC, the executive producer (Bill Lawrence) and Zach Braff had already filmed a series finale which was supposed to wrap up all of the plot points and send it off into TV heaven, but when ABC picked up the series, they had to scrap that episode. Then they were told that they would air one more season before calling it quits for good, but then the writers strike happened. So ABC brought it back for one more season to wrap things up, and even the main cast went through the season thinking that it would be their swan song. But then ABC asked to bring it back because it still had low but decent enough ratings that justified at least another season. But since Zach Braff had already made plans to leave the show, they had to renegotiate his contract so that he would only appear in a few episodes.
This reminds me of the final season of Roseanne where she won the lottery and went on a bunch of goofy adventures with her sister. Roseanne Barr actually didn't want to do the final season because she was felling burnt out, and John Goodman had already left the show. But ABC insisted on having at least one more season because of the ratings still being good enough, so they came up with the convoluted plot, only to give it a Dallas-type ending where the whole final season was Roseanne writing a novel because of the grief she was feeling when her husband Dan died of a heart attack (which was how they wrote John Goodman out of the show). It was basically one season too many that left a bad taste in the mouths of its loyal viewers.

The first two years are AWESOME! Year 3 still has some laughs and year 4 is tolerable. After that, just don't bother. |

After that, just don't bother. it's been really bad for a few years now, but i keep watching for some stupid reason. (see also: the Office) this new Scrubs will be cancelled shortly and be a barely-remembered footnote to TV history like Joey or Golden Palace. everyone's a fruit & nut case

I loved how he fainted silent movie style when his son and Turk's daughter showed them their rings. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?

They really should have just ended the show, I dunno why they think it's still worth doing w/ half the original cast gone

Turk, Cox & a few other mentors are there but the focus is on the students & JD isn't in the opening shot anymore, LOL. I miss that 'tard!
