Cleaning up Really Makes Me Feel Great!

My 10th grade Literature teacher once said that if you want to feel better about yourself and your life, clean your home as thoroughly as possible. She said that this always works.

Thinking that she was insane, I went ahead and did it one year to combat my seasonal depression solely based on my respect for her. She was, after all, my favorite instructor. Amazingly, the trick worked. I felt like a million dollars after having cleaned my room and bathroom (I lived at my parents house at the time, and my mom always kept the rest of the house clean--but I just never ventured out into the rest of the house due to my utter contempt for my family at that time in my life).

Anyways, I spent a good deal of New Year's day cleaning my quarters and making sure everything was straightened and in it's correct place. I started the day off making sure that my bed was made, then I went through all my laundry and did that. Then I straightened every possible thing visible to the eye, and cleaned the bathroom (which was actually already cleaned by the maid lol ).

But to make a long story short, cleaning your place actually makes you feel better. Sure, it sucks starting off and you feel almost like life is punishing you, but once you've completed it, it feels so good!

Who else loves to clean their home?

I love your username. Are you gay or bi-sexual? The spelling of it seems to indicate such. Being queer myself, I'd be interested in knowing what you look like.

You're really cute in that avatar. It is you isn't it? I should like to butter your muffin some time. I mean, if you were inclined that way. But with a username like that I would hedge my bets you pitch on my team to some extent.
