Yes, we were supposed to be "the good guys." Then some lunatics hijacked a few of our civilian aircrafts and turned them into suicide weapons of mass destruction. It changed us. It changed me.

Now, instead of leading our typically self-absorbed lives, many of us are truly pissed. Amazingly, when we look around, most of our usual friends, those who have relied heavily on our past support and allegiance (especially the European ones) have deserted us.

Right now, the Iraq nonsense is confusing. We claim they've got chemical and biological weapons, they claim they don't. As an American, I'm given the option to believe a president and an administration that I didn't vote for, or to trust a totalitarian dictator named Saddam Hussein. Forgive my choice. I side with my country.

Sadly, we'll probably only get the proof of their violation of the weapons ban once we're "forced" to attack. The chemical and biological weapons will then magically materialize. I wonder what our "friends" will say then?

So yes, please excuse us for behaving badly. We've been attacked by jackals, then shunned by our friends. Thanks a helluva lot.

The Europeans have deserted you because of your governments stance on Iraq and some other issues. Not the stance on terrorism.



Why side with either? Try an objective view of things. Firstly ask, "where is the proof?". After that ask, "Is there a good excuse to go to war?".



That sounds like a good excuse the kill thousands of people. The hunch they may have weapons of mass destruction. You wonder why epople in other countries are not supporting the US?



You're excused for being angry. That's fair enough, but the most powerful nation in the world is not excused for behaving BADLY.
