I can in 1990, I was watching a Madonna video special and I was 13, my cousin was with us and she was 12 and my 16 year old brother were eating biscuits. (He was babysitting us as the adults were out getting pissed).

Can't remember 1980, but do have a last newspaper from each decade, December 31st 1979, Dec 31st 1989, Dec 31st 1999 and Dec 31st 2009 (Also Jan 1 2000 and Dec 31st 2000).

Can anyone remember earlier decades like 1990, 1980, 1970 and even 1960? If so share with us.

I was born in 1979 but I do remember 1989. I was 10 years old and I was with my aunt who was 21 at the time. She stayed on the phone most of the evening. She ordered a pizza with just cheese on it for me and we watched Dick Clark on tv. I was so excited! We played music, danced, and goofed until after midnight. I can remember that it rained pretty hard in Times Square that year because I can remember people draped in Hefty bags lining the streets! Yaay for the 1990s. The 90s is the first decade that I can remember from beginning to end.

In 1980, I was 12. I was probably watching Dick Clark with my parents.
In 1990, I was 22. I think I was at a party with my friend Lori.

(clears throat) yes, i am one of the OLDER orgers..and i do remember stepping into the seventies at the tender age of seven or so...


i made a bunch of confetti, i think my parents were sleep and since i was the only child, at midnight i opened the door, (which was a no-no) and threw confetti all over the yard..... that was fun and in some ways, i'm still goofy like that.....

I can't even remember last night...
