Cancelled New Shows of the 2009-2010 season...so far

Well these new shows will not see 2010

The Beautiful Life
Three Rivers
Hank
Trauma
Eastwick

I liked Eastwick (Never seen the rest) ABC network never really promoted the show and now looks like they will not air the last 2 episodes sad

No my dear, we have your channels, as it happens in your country, beamed directly into our igloos. smile

We're a bit behind when it comes to British programs - which we get several of broadcast on Canadian channels.

OTOH, it's gone from great to outstanding since they announced it! I'm glad Whedon & company got a chance to wrap things up (unlike Firefly).

I know that all Canadians don't live in igloos.

the last like 6 episodes have been insane!!!! i can't believe they don't get another season to keep it going, just when it's getting so freaking good!!!

It's disappointing, isn't it? I wish someone would pitch a third season of the show to the Sci-Fi channel or something. It never was a good fit for Fox.

I'm pretty sure Canadian bacon is just ham, right?

Harvey's veggie burgers are amazing.

My grandmother watched it since it began. If I'm not mistaken, I think she told me she used to listen to it on the radio before TV. My mother watched it as a teenager. I watched it myself from 1980-1997 and got my mother back into watching it around 1988 and she watched it until she died two years ago. One of my sisters still watches it. I haven't watched it in over a decade but I always knew it was there like an old family member. I hate to see it end too.

Yeah, I have to say I was completely shocked by the cancellations of "Guiding Light" and now "As the World Turns." There can't be many more audiences more devoted than soap opera fans. I remember watching those two during summer vacation with my mom and grandmother. I hope Holden and Lily make it in the end. lol

Parks and Recreation is really struggling in the ratings. It may not be around for a second season.

ATWT deserves a great ending just cause they did this.

That would be terrible. I dont think NBC promotes it enough.

Martha is the only Lilly as far as I'm concerned.

I hope they do some compilation episodes with classic scenes over the decades. That would give the show a nice sendoff.

I stopped watching the show around 1997 or 1998 when I got a day job, plus the show had started getting dull to me. After seeing this, looks like I should have continued watching. I can't help but wonder what my grandmother would have said had she been alive to see those scenes. She was completely in the dark about stuff like that. lol
