"Welcome to Chicago Male. Come and get your balls waxed."

Anyone else a fan of Tabatha?

More importantly...is anyone here a patron of Chicago Male?

I LOVE HER! I've been a stylist for 16 years or so. The way she approaches running a salon is EXACTLY how I'd want to if I managed one. Being a stylist is a fun business, and even run the way she runs it, it can still be fun. I think the most depressing episode was the one w/ the Irish woman thinking her stylists were all doing nothing, she didn't like the color of the walls, didn't think the manager was up to snuff and demoted her to front desk, and was just all around negative toward anything Tabitha had to say. She should close that salon, or sell it. She's a horrible boss.

I wonder.....does Tabitha have a hearing loss? I always see a small device in her left ear (and perhaps her right). I don't know if it's a hearing aid, or an ear phone for production to clue her in as to when someone is doing something in the salon so she can bust in on them. But she's wearing it all the time, so the hearing loss thing seems more likely.

The show really shows how limited they are, and how much their business has dropped because of their lack of professionalism. It's hard to recover from a bad rep, ESPECIALLY in the hair industry. There's a saying, "you're only as good as your last haircut", meaning the last thing you do is your most recent reference, and what anyone will know of you.

I don't watch the show, but the stylist are the biggest most obnoxious "my shit don't stink" type of queens. Plus the windows look like something out of the Victorian era. It's just nasty.

I was pissed because the owner isn't even a stylist. He's just a businessman. Tabitha gave the salon a good make over, as she does on all the shows. ALL the people in there looked like queens, and I hated it. Fucking stereotypical bullshit, and they're feeding into it 110%. No doubt some of them might be able to cut hair quite well, but the dramz is not what I'd want in a salon. Not to THAT extent.
