I always think about his ex-wife Denise Richards and how people talked about her so badly after their split, and called her everything but a child of God; turns out old Charlie really is the one who's one egg short of a dozen after all. Not necessarily. That sort of argument is a dangerous fallacy. Perhaps Charlie Sheen just has an unconscious habit of attracting damaged women, or perhaps he consciously seeks them out because he sees them as a "bird with a broken wing", who, if given a bit of TLC can be healed and/or have their faith in men/humanity renewed. I'm not saying that this is the case here (I know nothing about these people either as individuals or as a couple), but I am just pointing out that it is wrong to make the sort of assumption you have made. If, for example, a woman repeatedly involved herself with violent men and ended up being abused, you wouldn't for a minute jump to the conclusion that it was all her fault. The simple truth is that there are damaged abusive women as well as abusive men out there, and they have a tendency to pick fights (quite often physical fights) with their men. However, they either come off worse and call the police, or the moment the man tries to defend himself by grabbing their wrists or he finally snaps, loses his temper and retaliates, they are screaming "Domestic violence!" at the top of their voices. Because the criminal justice system more often than not has a very simplistic "black and white" view on these matters, and almost always assumes the man is the aggressor, these women take advantage of that fact, they play the victim card for all that it is worth, and use the police and the courts as a weapon with which to (further) beat the man.
