Where will I be? Chicago IL

Where should I stay? Days Inn in Boystown

Where should I eat? There are so many great places to eat here. I would go with Salerno's Pizza in Oak Park.

Where should I shop? The Magnificent Mile.

Which club should I go to? Berlin on Prince Night.

What sights should I see? Visit Millennium Park at night for its beautiful waterfall towers and North Michigan Avenue. it's still breathtaking after being here my whole life.

Where will I be? New York City (specifically, Manhattan)

Where should I stay? Eek. I don't stay in hotels, but I've heard the Empire Hotel near Lincoln Center is nice. Of course there's the Four Seasons, the Waldorf, etc.

Where should I eat? That's tough. You have to have a slice of NY pizza. Or what about dim sum in Chinatown?

Where should I shop? Depends on what you're looking for. Chic, high-end on Fifth Avenue, trendy in SoHo, funky in the East Village, wrecka stows on Bleecker Street, cheap knock-offs of everything in Chinatown...

Which club should I go to? I have no idea, but if you want to hear live music, you can try The Bitter End on Bleecker Street

What sights should I see? Go to the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art for beautiful views of midtown Manhattan, walk around the resevoir in Central Park, take the Staten Island ferry past the Statue of Liberty, visit the Museum of Modern Art, go to the Cloisters Museum.

biggrin

I think I'd have to spend a couple of weeks there! mushy

Where will I be? I'm gonna send you up the road a few miles to Savannah, Georgia...

Where should I stay? The Kehoe House...it's fucking beautiful...
http://www.kehoehouse.com/

Where should I eat? depends on what you want...if you want upscale or elegant, I'd suggest Elizabeth on 37th or 17Hundred90...
if you want want good food & good times check out Vinnie Van Go-Gos or Spankys...the grouper fingers at Spankys = drool

http://www.17hundred90.com/
http://www.vinnievangogos...index.html

Where should I shop? stick to downtown for shopping...Savanah College of Art & Design lays claim to practically the enitre downtown area as its campus...and many of the shops reflect that...from artsy fartsy, to cool and chic, to quirky and eclectic...there really is something for everyone if you're willing to walk around and look...lots of great antique shops too...there's also a couple of malls on the southside of Savannah if you want a typical shopping experience...

Which club should I go to? I have no clue....neutral my clubbin' days are pretty much behind me but one of my favorite spots to have a drink is The Bar Bar...it's perfect in every sense of the word...and if you wanna get your drink on in a fun lil' place, try Wet Willies...great frozen drinks that will put you on your ass...plus, the crowd tends to be an even mixture of locals and tourists...
http://www.thebarbar.com/
http://www.wetwillies.com/
one cool thing about downtown Savannah, no open container laws...as long as your drink of choice is in a cup, you're free to walk around and get your drink on...it's bar hopping at its finest...

What sights should I see?a one hour stroll thru downtown Savannah will present you with more history than you probably ever learned in school...it sounds crazy, but the old cemetaries downtown are simply beautiful...the town squares, built as a defense system, are interesting...it's impossible to visit downtown Savannah and not find a point of interest...beautiful mansions, cobblestone streets, classic architecture, historical landmarks out the ying-yang...there's a bit of it all..

Another place I'd need extra time to explore! woot!

I love old cemetaries. I've seen a bunch of them. My hubby thinks I'm weird, but pishaw baby! They're beautiful!

One of the few regrets I have in my life is the fact that I lived north of Chicago for 5 years (1994-1999) and did not go to the Berlin on Prince Night. I hadn't heard of them. sad

I wouldn't mind going back to visit Chicago, in the autumn. lol
