It's been over 7 years since I had anything other than Extra-Strength Tylenol and Motrin (which gives me a headache).

Marijuana is a bit too easy to get in Hawaii, and felt so nice, I went to that cloud, many, many times.

Don't mean to burst anybody's drug bubble, but you could eliminate the cramps almost entirely by going on a hormonal method of birth control. I've been on the bc pill for quite some time (and there are many, many different types so if they didn't work once for you, have them put you on a different one and try it) and it cuts down the length and amount of flow, as well as the cramps. The added benefit is the contraceptive part!

Cramps SUCK ASS!! Mine are pretty bad, not "can't get out of bed" bad, but "moan all fucking day" bad. Poor LaV! I take Tylenol but nothing helps, I just gotta wait it out. 2 whole days, I hate it...

CalhounSq. If you ever want true relief, and have access to a physician - Anaprox works wonders, and it never affected me adversely.

... it does work if you mix it with - take any of your medication with a hot beverage - helps the pills work quicker

Vicodin is bad news...I had to take it once for pain, and for me it was a truth serum...My poor friends...

I threw them away I didn't like them. And I don't like taking any kind of medicine..

I am not one to take medicine. I only take it for severe migraines, and when the cramps get out of hand. In fact, I didn't even use medicine for both of my children! All natural. Only that kind of pain reminds me that cramps are nothin by comparison.

Unfortunately I have Endometriosis and I get major cramps. Pain killers don't do crap for me most of the time, but make me sick. I did however take 2 calcium pills a day for 4 months and it helped a whole lot for the first month only. My sister just recently told me that cat nip helps. Haven't tried it but I can tell you now next time I'm putting some in my tea and trying it. I know, but hey when you cramp this bad you'll try anything.
