Give me a list of chores the kids can do to save up for a Wii

neutral

I got one kid willing to do anything, and another 2 that find everything "too hard"

I asked the master and this is his list:

"He can teach Max to read?
Clean up Moppy's poo in backyard
    Sweep the kitchen
Pick up all dead leaves from the side of the house and backyard and put them in the bin
    Clean your car
    Clean his room
    Sort out the kitchen cupboards
Work with you for a an hr on stuff maybe eg. if you rearrange some stuff in cupboards or shelves
He can be your assistant and you can take the pics we need to sell stuff on ebay"

clean his room goes without saying, you don't get any money for that hmph!

Oscar empties the dishwasher
hangs up the washing
vacuums
sweeps
so far he's making a couple of dollars each day

I need other ideas too!

weekly vacuuming and dusting, making beds, do laundry or at least folding it, cleaning up the yard, poop and leaves, setting the dinner table as well as dishes and such. Back rubs and hair combing, collect and recycle stuff, sorting and organizing. N that's after one cocktail.

Photograph your boobs. They're already shown they have a knack for it nod

Otherwise, I agree with what's already been suggested, esp the helping an elderly neighbor.

When my kids asked for a Wii I got them to sort out their stuff and all the things they no longer need want or use got piled up for our Garage Sale

We made $350.00 on a Saturday Afternoon. The stuff they didn’t sell was taken to Vinnys.

So their rooms are tidier and they have their Wii

They aldo did housework just like your boys!

A good way to earn easy allowance money as a child is to recycle pop cans. I used to save and bag our cans, then my Dad and I would take them to an aluminum recycling center, and I would receive about $25-$40 each time. smile That can take awhile though (I would go every three months, or so), but it's just another idea. Maybe your children can collect cans from other family members' or friends' homes too, to speed up the collection.

Have them go around the house with disinfectant and a rag, and disinfect all the doorknobs, light switches, faucets and handles. The older one can do the harder to reach things, the little ones can do the doorknobs.
It's what you make it.

Mine presented me with a list from the summer of all the things he wanted for Christmas....a Wii, a PSP, video games.

I tried to make it real simple....behave in school, pass your tests, and do your homework. (this is an effort for him because of the ADHD, even with medication)

Wasn't long before I was getting phone calls of disruptive behavior, and work was missing and not getting done, and he was being bold enough to think he should not do his work in school.

Needless to say he is still Wii-less. hmph!

Unless you count getting that wee ass to' up brick
