Sunglasses...

what's your preference?

cheap or expensive?

year 'round accessory or a summertime thing only??

I never considered 'investing' in sunglasses 'til this year...I always bought cheap ones...but since I bought my first pair of Oakleys, I've become convinced that the quality is worth the expense...

I have these 3 pair now...

Cheap ones so I don't have to worry about losing them. I have a few pairs and try to wear them frequently, all year round. I have blue eyes and have been told sunglasses are essential to avoid having vision problems later in life. I love the first and third sunglasses you posted. Maybe I should think about investing in a quality pair.

I bought these Oakleys for my boo for Christmas:

He bought me these on our honeymoon, my first pair of expensive sunglasses. Well, I always had to have prescription sunglasses before and never went the expensive designer route. I love my Raybans. SO, glad I wear contacts now. I can just go into a store and buy cheap or expensive sunglasses now.

I used to wear year round when I lived in Florida. Do not need them year round anymore.

that was my logic as well...but I think you become way more conscious of your eyewear when you pay more for them and tend to be more protective of them...

hmmm seems the likes of those sunglasses were worn by a certain Prince in a picture or two in the past...or was it my imagination running away with me? Oakleys, ok. hmmm Either way they sure look nice. cool

Mine aren't all that expensive but not cheap either, I have 2 pairs of Oakleys, 1 Coach and 1 Lancetti. I wear them a lot during the summer and when the sun is hitting my face while driving.

Since I wear them every day for several hours, I think investing in a nice pair is worth it. But you have to take care of them. If I was always losing my sunglasses or if I wanted 10 pairs, they'd have to be cheap!

I used to have a fairly expensive pair or Ray Bans for awhile and after those broke, I've been wearing cheapies all-year round.

To be honest, I always feel like a bit of a wank wearing them. The noun, not the physical act. Being Scottish, there's really only about three hours a year where their use is justified. And that's when I'm on holiday in Spain.

Can I ask, genuinely, no other intent intended, honestly, from one inquizative mind to another, why did you make that? I'm not being facetious, I really just want to know.

When you're doing 365 pictures, you have to start being creative after a while.

I also remade the Prince Rolling Stone cover from a few years ago, the Parade album cover, Madonna's Bedtime Stories album cover, and an homage to MJ's Invincible album.

What's 365 pictures? Apologies if that's a really dense question.

365 is a number. It's the number of pictures in my project.

Yep. Lotta folks do it as a photo project. Some take pictures of themselves, some take pictures of things around them to represent their day or a moment.
