Who Else Is Working In Christmas??

I'm actually sitting on the Internet because I'm "familied" out and don't want to hangout with my usual 'crowd' due to what's amounted to an all-day stomach ache I've worked Christmas day for 6 years while in the military. It's customary for upper management to stop by while we work and drop off turkey diners and such. One year, my asshole flight chief actually stopped by with no food, and suggested work that needed to be done. I was pissed fortunately, my supervisor gave him a piece of his mind. Merry Christmas anyway

Merry Christmas anyway Likewise Due to the fact that WE are not getting an Xmas bonus this year(not that much anyways), I decided to work this holiday. I don't think I'll miss much since my family doesn't celebrate Christmas,,,,,I'll def miss the festive vibe though [Edited 12/25/09 14:37pm]

I worked for about eight hours today. I wasn't obligated to, but our financial year end coincides with the calendar year end, so I like to spend as much time in the office as possible when we get to this stage. I popped into the office around 4:30 am and left around 1:00 pm.
I also always really like sending a few pissy e-mails in the morning on Christmas day. This is probably going to send petty, but I think sending someone a slightly nasty note at 5:00 am on December 25th sends a message that it wouldn't if it's sent during a standard work day. I usually save up a few little issues so I can e-mail them first thing Christmas morning. [Edited 12/25/09 18:48pm]
