HONOLULU (AP) — Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was taken to a hospital with chest pains on Wednesday, a Honolulu television station reported.

Paramedics responded to a call from the Kahala Hotel and Resort where Limbaugh is vacationing, KITV reported. The station, citing unnamed sources, said the 58-year-old Limbaugh was taken to The Queens Medical Center in serious condition.

Queens spokeswoman N. Makana Shook says the hospital is unable to comment on the report.

Emergency Medical Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic said paramedics took a male of unknown age to an area hospital from the Kahala Hotel and Resort. He said he had no further information.

Reminds me of when former Thai PM Samak went to the US for treatment for his cancer. He was greeted at the airport in Houston by Thais living in the US holding signs telling him they hoped he would die soon. They got their wish in November.

I'm just going to say one thing, then sista is through. I've had the great displeasure of hearing his bile on road trips home from TN to IL. Around the middle of KY, that's all you hear unless you turn to a college station. My dad and I listen for about 5 minutes and then turn on an iPod or something. I don't like who he is, I don't like what he stands for, but I sure as hell would not wish him death or extreme bodily harm. Would I like to pop him one upside that fat head for some of the crud he's said and done? Sure!

Oh well. Compared to some of the things I've seen on Twitter, this thread is harmless. I know a lot of people are out for him because he's not the um...best person, but I just feel like wishing death on anyone is a harsh thing to do.
