I watch old cartoons when I have breakfast.

I sing in front of the mirror.

And I'll do anything for candy.
I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

I'm only 18 fucking years old and people think it's a big deal that I like cartoons and pooh bear and stuff. It's fun, it's cute, it's interesting. What do I care. I'm gonna be 48 years old and playing Mario Brothers on the "Nintendo Wii 45 Virtua simulator 3000" 30 years from now. You can't tell me shit. I'm not growing up.

i'm in my mid-30s and i have lately come to the realization that many of my hobbies are a bit silly for someone my age.

at some point i should probably stop playing soccer 3 or 4 times a week, NO you should not

playing video games, and going out to see films based on comic books. If this is not like ahuge out of balance thing then NO you should not

i dunno. i do things i like but i fear i might look like an old man who is desperately trying to remain hip. Who the fuck cares what others really think about your lifes pleasures ?

anybody wanna share the childish things they still do so i won't feel so lame?

I don't see the things you enjoy doing as an adult as lame at ALL

funny...I have bought my son (14) entire sets of football cards for the past 3 years (I used to collect them as a kid) for xmas gifts. We sat together and put them in order and oogle over the players etc. He's a fan, but I got the feeling that I was just buying them for my sake, so I didn't buy them this year.

He asked me "where's my football card set this year?"...I told him I thought he wasn't into it anymore, he said he was...

Tomorrow, I'm going to buy that set...

Being grown up means that you take care of your business (you raise your kids as best that you can, you pay your bills on time, you take care of the house and car, you go to work everyday etc) BUT, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU STOP DOING WHAT YOU ENJOY DOING! They are not mutually exclusive. If comics and soccer are your thing, by all means, don't stop. Don't live your live worried about how others perceive you...be a one man party.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
