I don't like napping either.

Maybe get checked out by a doctor. At least get a physical and see if all your numbers are normal. Make sure there's no medical condition that needs attention. Hopefully, all is OK.

There's probably no other solution than to go to bed earlier.

or delete your org accts.
wink

LOL, yeah. But don't do that!!!!

Yes...loads of water needs to be consumed where you are...beer dehidrates you so 1 beer 2 glasses of water.... AND as I have mentioned in other sleep related threads....

Valerian Root a natural herb in pill form can help geatly...I take 2 as I assume you should as well...gives that calming effect...kinda' like Valium...works great before bed or at anytime during a stressful day.

You could also use Pasion Flower it's a liquid you add to the water or beverage of our choice to help with calming sensation...much like Valerian Root...I just happen to like the Valerian Root better...works quickly.

Hope this helps wink

Sleep??? What is that?

Hey kiddo! One of the best pieces of advice we ever got was "Sleep when the baby sleeps".

The natural thing is to think, "The baby's asleep. Now I can do some personal things" but the reality is that if you don't sleep when he does, you won't get a whole lot of sleep.

Good luck!

I was just going to say that! As tempted as you are to work around the house or read a book or watch tv or be on the .org giggle nap when he does. It really helps.

Eight hours is too much. Six is enough. Too much sleep makes you sleepier.

She's outnumbered! lol (Unless you're home to look after your 2yr old while she and the baby nap giggle )

If they both nap at the same time, so should she, but when you finally have a quiet minute, the last thing you want to do is sleep when there's things to be done.

Sounds great and I have tried to do that. The problem is that he does not nap for very long during the day. He is still wanting to be fed every 2 hours most days. By the time I get him down after he plays and lay down myself, he is waking.
As soon as he stops with the cat naps, I will hopefully get more sleep.
pray
Sounds great, can't wait.

The other problem is that I need more than 20 mins when I nap or I wake up grumpy.

I have a hard time letting the house work go. It will just pile up and I will have to tackle it some time.
neutral

The other problem I am having is the reason I am here right now. He woke us every 2 hours last night to be fed. He was on a good schedule through the night 4-5 hrs between feeds. Then something happened last night and it went back to 2 hrs.
I have woken up so many times, now it is 7am and I figure why bother going back to sleep, I will just have to wake back up soon.
I get tired of going back to bed, tossing and turning and waking up.
