Have you ever been to a Psychic / Medium?

I visited a card reader in New Orleans back in '00. She had pretty good insight, at least a good portion of it fed by my own comments, I'd guess. That isn't to take away from any spiritual gifts she may or may not have had, though.

Either way, it's not really my thing these days.

Yes. I saw a card reader recommended to me many years ago. She was pretty good at picking up clues about my past (vague though they were) but not a thing about my future that she predicted came true. lol

Well I read my own cards usually.
But I had a palmist that I would see annually and she was about 97% accurate in foreseeing how my life was unfolding.

Unfortunately, she passed away recently, and I have yet to find anyone else I feel as comfortable with.

She had the softest hands.. And her spirit was incredibly light and almost glimmering.. She was beautiful.

Yes. she told me somebody stole one of my possesions and buried it in a cememtary to put a bad luck curse on me and if I gave her $200.00 she would give me something to break the curse. I ran outta there so fast and never went back, so I guess my ass is still cursed! eek

I saw a lady about 7 years ago and as a complete sceptic didn't really take too much notice of what she thought was in store for me. ALthough she was pretty spot on with my past.

When I moved house 3 years ago I found the notepad I used to take notes of what she 'saw' in my future and was totally shocked to see that 90% of it had since happened.

I saw a card reader, nearly 20 yrs ago now, and I said nothing and gave no reactions - I just let him talk. He was pretty much spot on about my past, and especially about where I was at back then - seeing him was a springboard for what I went on to do, and literally changed my life.

I don't belive any of that shit though.

Saw one in Mexico. What she told me, although a little vague, was pretty spot on.

She supposedly told my mom when she was going to die. According to our neighbor and mom's best friend. She was right. I didn't know what the psychic told her so I can't say 100%.

My mom passed on 4th of July 1994.

There is one lady in Massachusetts who is soooo good. She told my mother 10 years prior that she would be marrying a widower and that one of her children was going to go far far away. She said it would be the widowers 3rd marriage and he would be much older. She also said she would meet him through someone who worked in a court and she didn't know if it was a man or woman.

10 years later she met a man who was widowed, then divorced from his 2nd wife and she met him through her friend Terry, a male, who was a court officer. I shit you not. Also my brother died, hence one of her children going far away.

There's other stuff she told her but I can't remember. Others that I know have seen her and they left in shock that she knew so much. She just uses regular playing cards. Creepy.

I'd never go to one. I don't delve into Satanic things like that. The spirits you're messing with are things you do NOT want to get entangled with.

Easy. You can't worship me, I'm not God! biggrin

I do real time stuff with people, ususally face to face. I don't charge for readings and my thing is all intuition and instinct. I'm learning to trust it more but I don't try and engage in vulgar displays of power. lol

I used to think it was satanic but I just think some people are intuitive and I can be too at times. I spoke to 3 of them and they got a lot of stuff accurate even though some of it was exaggerated too. I feel like calling again, but I'm broke.

I don't run around saying "I'm psychic"! but when people start freaking out because I tapped into their energy, then I explain. I have zero issues of people not believing. I know what I know and that's all that really matters smile

I'm a total sceptic, and would never go to a "psychic". But my wife has something about her that I could never explain. She quite often has what some might call "premonitions" about me. She's actually predicted some bad shit that has happened to me. One notable occasion was when she plead with me to not go swimming down at the creek one day when we were in High School, as she thought something bad was going to happen. I of course ignored her advice and went. Well, turns out I was sucked under by the water rushing under the open dam bypass. I almost drowned. I was really lucky that I broke free of the current and made it to shore.

She's also been turned away at parties where there were card readers. One time the woman doing the readings started dealing the cards and stopped midway into it. She said that she couldn't continue because of my wife's strong aura, or some shit like that. Didn't make any sense to me, but she was the only one turned away that night. This chick was paid to read everyone's fortune.

My wife has also had the privilege to do manicures on celebrities passing through the Twin Cities due to her reputation as an expert nail tech. She's had clients like Bobby Z and Matt Fink during their tenure with the Revolution. A particular client came through her office one day that freaked her out. He told her that he knew everything about her and proceeded to tell her whole life's story. He said he instantly knew because she could "project it" or something to that effect. She's had some traumatic life experiences that she doesn't share with very many people, but he knew everything.

So she gets home and tells me about it, but couldn't remember his name. She said he was really odd and had a strange accent. I remembered seeing a news article that Uri Geller (Michael Jackson's go-to psychic) was in town for a conference, and she said that yes, it was him. Now Uri has been debunked for his spoon bending parlor tricks, but on that day he apparently knew his shit.

Never. I think these talents may exist, but I can't trust strangers who have an interest in making money off of it, and also when I don't know what their spirit is truly like.
