All Things 00's Well friends, in a few short days we will say farewell to another year, another decade. This thread is reserved for the reflection on everything that happened in the last decade in both our private lives and in popular culture.
Feel free to list resolutions for the next year and decade. Lets roll.

Ten years ago in 1999, I was a 20 year old kid in college studying education working a part time just above minimum wage job. I had no idea I would end up where I am now. I have two degrees now, neither in education and a great career in physical therapy which I love. I helped elect the first African-American president by committing 2 years of my life to the Obama campaign, registering hundreds of new voters. Ive traveled to Mexico and other Carribean and Central American countries, raised money to build wells in African nations that have poor water resources, volunteered in literacy programs for at risk children in urban Detroit, among other things.
Weve seen the disasterous Bush administration come and go, the terrorists attacks on American soil on 9/11/01. The shocking aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. The Great Tsunami of 2004. The Great American Blackout of 2003 and more...

The emos of today were being born during the 90's. The kids who followed Manson in the 90's all have jobs and kids and mortgages now. Wait -are you trying to insinuate goths are Manson fans?
