Oh man... I didn't take any! pout

I'm in NJ and got about 6". Plus I had a major snow drift in my driveway.

I love snow...

So 6" of snow on the roads for a NJ driver is equivalent to - what? - 10" for a NY driver?

evillol

(...sorry - couldn't resist...)

lol
But isn't it the other way around? With mass transit, NYers don't have to drive. wink

We don't get snow - Thank God, looks so cold there. Here we are a having a cold 19 (66) degree day, you can feel the chill, although the sun is nearly overhead cool and it won't get dark until 9pm. Even in the winter we don't get any snow. The closest we got was a 6 degree rain shower (43f) in July this year, Rumour has it, that it may drop into the 50s tonight. lol
Here in New Zealand, its not as nice as OZ though, theres more cloud than sun today. But the sun is nice when it shows

Are there places you could go or do you live near family or friends?

My parents live near, but if they lose power they're out of luck as well! I haven't had a home with a fireplace since I was 6 years old.

Fortunately my town has its own power generator plant, so power outages are rare. [knock on wood]

That's good to know! If the snow's too deep around Mach's home, we're in the next state! Welcome anytime PurpleJedi. grouphug Friends and families that huddle together make things warmer! nod

you don't know how rare it is!!! It's usually either oppressively HOT (like 100+) or grey and chilly.

Ended up with a dusting in Hampton Roads, Va ... originally forecasted for 6 inches ... I wish. Hope everyone else with larger amounts are doing okay ... don't get snow much here, so it's nice to see it when it comes. Take care to those who are snowed in.
