Snow Day! - post ur pics! We got about 18" of the fluffy white stuff here on the south shore of Long Island. I think that the average for the island is 20".

Oh man... I didn't take any!

That's true and we have over the 17 winters of living here have used it many times during power outages We have kids/friends here who lost power on friday and last night they were in the cars with their parents trying to stay warm ... so greatful to be able to help others out  | |

My parents live near, but if they lose power they're out of luck as well! I haven't had a home with a fireplace since I was 6 years old.
