Priority Mail

How long does priority mail take to deliver a small package? I know it is 2 to 3 days, but it's around Christmas. Is it true if it's mailed Wednesday before 10 am it should get there Thursday?

It depends on the priority you pay for

Normally if you are mailing within NYC, priority mail will give you a one day turnaround. But with the increased amount of mail being shipped around Christmastime, I'd allow the 2-3 days.

I love that service the PO provides. Yes it is true your package gets delivered withing 2-3 days. 3 days from the West coast to the East coast or vice versa. Sometimes Priority mail takes even a day to be delivered within state. During the holiday season all mail gets delayed just because of the quantity that passes through the PO. I still rely on US PO to deliver most of my mail, it is very reliable.

You pay for "PRIORITY" status, which is 2-3 days. It's different from First Class, or Overnight, etc. It's a specific amount of time for delivery.

But I'd ask the post office folks when you take a package in, if there are delays. I mean, realistically, you should take on a day or two to anything right now, for delivery.

Send two exact packages, one First Class, and one Priority, THEN let's talk about fairness and what happens.
