There's a new story in the news today about Josh Powell, whose wife Susan Powell allegedly went camping and vanished. He's noted as being "an interesting person" by Susan's mother. I don't think police have even named him as a person of interest, although I'm sure he's at the top of their list. The spouse is always #1 on the list of potential suspects.

But in a bigger realm of discussion, WHY?! Some of these marriages were fine, so why kill the wife? Is it REALLY a question of a life insurance policy? And if a person takes out a policy just weeks before their spouse disappears, are they that stupid to think no one will notice that? WTF kind of headset are they in to think that will fly? I just don't get it. If there's no affair, and no real problems, then WTF?

When Scott Peterson was found w/ rope, a shovel, duct tape, and all that in the trunk of his car, and had different colored hair and new facial hair...it just amazes me, that he killed one woman, and was probably going to kill the girlfriend and head to Mexico.

Although there are women who kill their husbands, it seems the violence against women is still exponentially higher. I just don't get it. WTF is so bad that you can't just divorce someone, instead of considering an option that would leave your children with a dead mother?

It really says something that the spouse is usually an immediate person of interest.

As for Susan Powell, the husband’s story is suspicious. Why would he take his children to go camping in the middle of the night? On a freezing night at that? And he came back and she was just gone? I'm afraid this one will end badly.

It's that damn 'Til death do us part' caveat in the wedding vows.

That was kind of it. She was on TV a lot, and I bet this came from her 1994 show. It lasted one season. But she talked to someone about how she had divorced her husband, but he still lived in the house, on the lower level or in a different section of the house. "But it works for us." Uh huh.

In 2004, she had an interview in some magazine (I think Curve or something girly like that) where she said she was a "radical feminist lesbian woman". Yeah, there's a shocker. The sun comes up in the east too.

She was on a couple of the R Family Tours, which Rosie O'Donnell is part of, and Rosie's wife Kelly heads up and organizes. She was just as insane and wacky on there as she was 15 years ago.

I saw a clip of her on her YouTube channel a year or so ago. Apparently some people got negative toward her, or others, on a forum on her website. She decided, instead of banning certain people, that she was just shutting the whole forum down. And she did.

This was 10 months ago actually. She's a fucking loon! I'm usually one to let folks do their thing, and try to at least understand it's their own thing. But this chick.....HYSTERICAL!

Probably a case of an honor killing.Those fucking idiots and their fucked up traditions.Still stuck in the middle ages.

What I meant is....when white folks kill their spouses, it´s seen as domestic violence but if it´s certain other ethnicities people always regard it as a socalled honor killing (these of course do exist but not all honor killings are really honor killings....the very term is ridiculous).
