I thought it was lame.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Everyone I've talked to (ranging in age from 40 to 69, at least - and younger) LOVED it. Oddly, my roommate of 47 has never even heard of the book! After I slapped the shit outta him, I told him we'd be finding the movie to watch soon. I've still not seen it.

The more you love the book, the more you'll hate what they did to it. disbelief

My friend who loves the book loved the movie as much as I did, though.

yes.
i thought it was alright.

the medium of film can never top a book.
just as in the Lord Of the Rings. Poeple get disappointed when with film when they don't realise this. I wonder if the book suggested any answers to the problems presented in this story.

I'm looking forward to Alice in wonderland.

It was ok.

The textures in the movie are all really well done. The emotional undercurrent throughout is actually excellently done.

It was just way too long.

I've read the book and seen the film. Granted the film adds some back story that is not in the book but heck, the book is like 10 pages long or something. Anyway, Spike did a great job. Everything can't be Lord of the Rings for cryin' out loud. lol
