TODAY is Adoption Day! **Now with PIC!** As most of you know, JerseyKRS and I got married and formed a twisted little Brady Bunch not too long ago: me and my two daughters, him and his daughter and son.
Before we met Chris, it was just me, Rosie and Mari. Their biological father chose drugs and being crazy over his kids, but we were doing pretty well just the three of us. It was exhausting at times being mom and dad, but my girls made it worth it. When Chris came into the picture, though, it became clear what they had been missing, what I couldn't give them. Sometimes I watch him warning them about boys, changing a tire on their bicycle, filling out their emergency cards from school, or rolling his eyes and throwing up his hands at all the girly hair accessories cluttering up his house, and my heart fills with gratitude. Tomorrow, we go to court to finalize his adoption of Rosie and Mari. We have already been a family for a couple of years now, but tomorrow a judge will bang a gavel and make it legal. I just wanted to share this happy news with you all, who have been so supportive of our family.

We are so, so blessed. We have no fucking money for Christmas after paying the lawyer (of course it ended up ballooning to three times their initial estimate), but I think this is the best Christmas present! I'm looking forward to everyone having the same last name.  | |

That is fantastic this is something I plan to do as well. I inherited 3 girls who I love like i put them here and I know Chris feels that way with Rosie and Mari love is a truly beautiful thing. | |

I had to look for my eldest daughter's mobile, my middle's DS and my wife's bangles on Friday before a weekend trip away. I turned the house upside-down but only found the DS and a gazillion hair-bands, bobbles, clips, clasps, closps, clusps, etc, etc! 
If I had a pound for every hair-thing I found on Friday, I'd be
