Printablemy last employer used to give us a bonus equal to a weeks pay.
this year, my new employer paid for our xmas dinner seems that i was busy doing something close to nothing, but different than the day before   | |

 That's such a sweet thing to say. It's nice to feel appreciated at my place of work; I haven't had that for many, many years.

Thanks! Last year at this time my employment was completely up in the air -- I didn't know if I'd even have a job in January and then this opportunity came along. It's not perfect, but I'm making it work.

Oh - they subsidise each separate team, so they can each have their own team night-out. It's not a big subsidy, maybe £100.00 per team, but it's good enough. I'm going for a meal with my team tomorrow.

Not at all.
There's a Christmas party organized at a restaurant. We have to pay for everything ourselves though. Basically all the boss folks did is reserve a big table. I won't be going. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!" | |
