What's 365 pictures? Apologies if that's a really dense question.

it's when somebody photographs themselves eveyday for a year...

that reminds me of Harvey Keitel's character in the movie Smoke

I've never had an expensive "brand" pair, I'm too fickle

I have about seven $6 pairs that I rotate on whatever whim I'm feeling that day

I'm not in it for the brand name or the bragging rights. I just need a shield. Now while I don't want to look like I got them at a 3D movie theater, they don't have to be spectacular. There's a Dollar Store here that has some cool ones, including the ones I posted in a picture in this thread. wink

Nor am I. I just don't want cheap ass ones that fall apart and scratch when the wind blows on them.

I like to buy designer shades at places like TJ Maxx or Ross where they are marked down REALLY low since I tend to lose them.

I love how shades look, but I don't wear them often.
If you will, so will I

I never leave the house without them during the day. Not only do they block harmful rays but they keep you from squinting. They fight wrinkles in all kinds of ways! smile

I generally go cheap (no more than $40 but usually $20 or less) because I am forever losing them, or sitting on them, or dropping them on the ground and stepping on them. And I like having lots of pairs to choose from.

But I'm probably of the age now that I may invest in a nicer pair someday soon.

Get some Burt's Bees Lemon Cuticle cream. Comes in a quarter sized tin, cheap. Smells like heaven, but put a little dab around your eyes whenever. TOTALLY keeps the wrinkles at bay. Oh....it's good on your cuticles too. lol

Mine are prescription: blended bi-focal and as dark as possible.
I have awful vision, and I'm light-sensitive. I wear them year-round. The slightest glare, and I'm at a disadvantage.

Me- last spring, when I first got them:

"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

that describes me as well...my vison is pitiful...and when I wear my contacts, the slightest amount of light is a real pain...for the most part, it has to be a terribly overcast day for me not to wear shades...

the worst for me is on rainy days when the sun is still shining...and we get a ton of those in south Georgia...if for some crazy reason I don't have my shades with me on those days, I can't drive...period

I never really cared about shades until a few years ago. Used to buy cheap, now I just have a few good pairs that I take care of. My limit had been $100 but I fell in love w/ some aviators that cost a bit more than that, had to have them!

I've got two pairs of Banana Republic sunglasses. These (which I'd like to put really, really dark lenses in):

And these (but mine are tortoise shell w/brown tinted lenses):

As I get older, my eyes are increasingly sensitive to light and cold winds, so I tend to wear my shades (or at least keep them in tow) year-round. I also look dumb in most frames, so when I find a pair that looks good on me, I don't mind paying a bit more for them. I accidentally left the bottom pair in my brother-in-law's car about 2 months ago. He's a bit of a slob, and I haven't seen them since, so I've sort of resolved that they're his now. confused I may replace them with these, but in an almond frame.
