I like to buy designer shades at places like TJ Maxx or Ross where they are marked down REALLY low since I tend to lose them.

I love how shades look, but I don't wear them often.

I have very light colored eyes and NEED to have good quality lenses in my sunglasses. So I tend to go through a lot of sunglasses but I only have one pair of eyes

I never leave the house without them during the day. Not only do they block harmful rays but they keep you from squinting. They fight wrinkles in all kinds of ways!

I generally go cheap (no more than $40 but usually $20 or less) because I am forever losing them, or sitting on them, or dropping them on the ground and stepping on them. And I like having lots of pairs to choose from.

But I'm probably of the age now that I may invest in a nicer pair someday soon.

Mine are prescription: blended bi-focal and as dark as possible.
I have awful vision, and I'm light-sensitive. I wear them year-round. The slightest glare, and I'm at a disadvantage.

I never really cared about shades until a few years ago. Used to buy cheap, now I just have a few good pairs that I take care of. My limit had been $100 but I fell in love w/ some aviators that cost a bit more than that, had to have them!

As I get older, my eyes are increasingly sensitive to light and cold winds, so I tend to wear my shades (or at least keep them in tow) year-round. I also look dumb in most frames, so when I find a pair that looks good on me, I don't mind paying a bit more for them. I accidentally left the bottom pair in my brother-in-law's car about 2 months ago. He's a bit of a slob, and I haven't seen them since, so I've sort of resolved that they're his now. I may replace them with these, but in an almond frame.
