Don't be a friend collector, or a starfucker. Follow people who truly interest you, and that you feel like you really want to know about. A lot of artists only post links to their CDs or something ridiculous, opposed to just being people. There are news sources too of course, including Prince.org. You'll get a lot of random people following you, 99.9999% of which will be porn, ways to make money, and ways to gain hundreds of Twitter followers at a time. When you check your "Followers" list, chose "Block and Report Spam" for every single fucking one of them. I hate the spam on there, but it's not too frequent, and easily managed. Once someone is blocked, it's ovah.

I really just wanna follow people who post hilarious random thoughts...and stalk a couple as well.

Well I hit the link you posted less than 10 minutes ago and have laughed out loud like 4 times, which is more than any sitcom on today has done this season.

That site is SO heavily monitored by the FBI and police and government people looking for that sort of thing, I would think twice about doing anything stupid. You hear about 'who was caught by posting on twitter' all the time on the news

I'm pretty sure I only follow Matt Skiba and Alkaline Trio.

I guess I'm just plain old as I still don't see the appeal.
