Some of my favorite modern actresses are...
I've always thought Stockard Channing was a brilliant and underrated actress. 
Julia Stiles is a wonderful young actress. I'm really impressed by her. 
CCH Pounder is able to play characters brilliantly. The expressiveness of her face and her voice is incredible. 
I've loved Kristin Scott Thomas since Under the Cherry Moon. She's just flawless. | |

I remember when that came out. I know I watched it years ago but I'm adding it to my Netflix. She is probably the only actor (male or female) that I will watch a movie based on just the fact that they are in it. | |

I'm a fan. Anna Kendrick - Yeah yeah she was in twilight but she blew me away in a movie called CAMP. I heard she's done tons of Broadway stuff too. I hear she may be nominated for an Oscar for her new movie with George Clooney, UP IN THE AIR. I'm sure there's more.....
