The provisions of a prenuptial agreements are there to protect your previous assets prior to the marriage and to also protect whatever assets you've acquired during the marriage and hence a divorce. So, the devil are in the details on how the Woods prenuptial agreement was drawn up and signed before they were married. There could be up teem clauses and provisions about everything from art collection, car(s) homes, living expenses, home/health insurance, investments/real estate, stocks bonds, and taxes... to anything under the sun. What did they agree too? Does she get a lump sum/plus alimony/living expenses after so many years? How does that amount change change if any after the 5th, 6th, or 10th year of marriage? Did she agree to a percentage of his yearly earnings during the course of the marriage if they where to get a divorce? Did he agree to give her half of all assets made during the course of the marriage? What stipulations or changes would be (if any) made if children were born to the union? Now granted, a prenuptial agreement can't not take into account child support payments, the courts/judge have that discretion. His kids nor his wife will be living hand to mouth. Mr. Woods child support payments will be in the millions till his children reach age twenty-one.


I'm not aware of Texas laws pertaining divorce but Florida and California are No-Fault Divorce states. Ms. Elin Woods could file papers claiming adultery as grounds for divorce. If she just wanted to kick/humiliate Woods once more as she walks off with some of his millions fine, but it doesn't matter. I couldn't blame her for that tho'.

The way my friend explained it is that because of community property laws the prenup can't prevent her from getting what's legally hers which is a 50/50 split of anything acquired during the marriage. Texas allows no fault divorces or you can go at-fault too and the judge can take adultery into conideration when dividing the assets and give the "wronged" spouse up to 90%, I posted the link to that in an earlier Tigga thread.

I know women who owned their homes before they got married and had to sell them during the divorce in order to pay the husband his half of the equity acquired while they were married.

Source: Woods Sets Sail From Florida


Tiger Woods and a group of buddies, including some golfers, have left North Palm Beach, according to a source who has seen the golfer's 155-ft. luxury yacht.

"Tiger's boat Privacy has been docked at Old Port Cove in North Palm Beach for more than a week," the source tells PEOPLE. "On Saturday morning, after stocking up on provisions from Costco on Northlake Blvd., the boat left town."

Another source tells PEOPLE that Woods, 33, is going to cruise in the Bahamas for a few days after hanging around the Palm Beach Gardens area this past week.

Neither source has seen Woods, although tight security has been guarding the Old Port Cove Marina for more than a week. One eyewitness reported that a limo arrived at the marina Friday, before the boat departed the next morning.
