OK, that was lame. But still... It's only lame because you're capable of so much better. Thank you, that's the second-best compliment anyone's ever paid me on here! (Shaulser paid me the ultimate compliment. Not the song, something else.) (No offense Imago, but you should have never de-booed me or you'd be #1.)

1. Let's say you're only allowed to read one book this year. And it has to be a book you've already read. What book would it be and why?
2. Americans. Are they annoying or what? 3. Would the org benefit from having at least one conservative moderator in P&R? 4. What's your opinion of the French? 5. What's the lowest brow form of entertainment that you've enjoyed before? Maybe not a guilty pleasure per say, but something you really like despite yourself.

Maybe not a guilty pleasure per say, but something you really like despite yourself. 1) Me Cheeta, because it's fantastic and broke my heart. 2) I've mellowed a bit there. Not any more or less than any other nation. All Americans I've met think I'm really dour and cunty - generally because the Scottish accent is so monotone, like a retard terminator. I find the positivity and high note inflections of the American accent amusing, but not in a patronising, condecending way. Well, maybe a bit. Infact, I fucking hate it. Scottish people have far darker souls and intent than any other race I've known. But you'd have to read the blueprint for the brains of everyone on Earth to know the truth of the matter and beyond simple generalisation or hilarious limited personal perception. Weather has anout 93% to do with it, I'm sure. The sky is very low in Scotland. We're like Russians with a sense of humour and none of the murderous megalomanical tyranny. We just kill ourselves. 3) The American definition of conservative is chalk and cheese to the british one. Especially the scottish one. So I can't answer that question. I think I'd make a good moderator but I told ben I don't have the time. He was gutted, but, y'know. 4) See 2. 5)Grafitti Bridge, of course.

You must tell me your opinion of the most usless thread in GD outside of this one (if that was indeed your opinion)!! 5. Do U write books? 1) Why not? It's Jesus wearing a Santa hat. It was just Jesus until one Christmas here about five years ago when everyone was putting Santa hats on their avatars. I was relatively org-famous then so someone offered to put a wee hat on my Jesus, I honestly can't remember who. I've kept it there ever since, mostly due to laziness, but partly because it shorts the cylindrical circuitry of the fundamentalist Christian mindset. 2) I was actually looking to for Prince tourdates! I had just bought my first computer too and was outrageously excited by the reality of the internet - an instintaneous worldwide community! An ever-eveolving, all-consuming Akashic Record of all human knowledge, art and wonder! A magical welcoming place where paedophiles find out they're not alone and can share videos of children! Yes, my views have changed somewhat since those early halcyon days. However, I digress. I was living with my grandmother at that point because my grnadpa had died and it was either that or she went into a home. I try and do the right thing, not because I feel there's any judgement outside of my own circuitry, but because guilt can be a weight can could drown feathers in the Dead Sea. 3)All three, to a point. None of us are going anywhere, except speeding towards death and eternal nothingness. Woo. 4)Any birthday thread. You're a year closer to death. Put the cake away and kill a President. 5)Five a day.

Number23 said: Imago said: I know. I know. This is littleMissG's gig, but let's face it--she's busy lately!
And Billie(Billy?) has always sort of fascinated me that way. Some of you newbies don't really know Number23, but he used to be a lot like most of you--he posted his picture a lot, he smiled at the camera when he really didn't mean it, and he posted frequently. The only difference is that he is quite clever and hasn't been known , at least from my time studying his posts, to give many compliments--I suspect he hates many of you. But what always struck me about his post, is that after having read them 2 or 3 times to understand what he's trying to say, cause his paragraphs read much like Fauxie's paragraphs used to (Fauxie's gotten much better at speaking 'common' colloquial 'org' English after the witches of Orgwick, (aka Alej, protege, InsastiableCream, 2the9s) got ahold of him. But I digress. I'm going to ask these questions whether he answers me or not. If he doesn't answer me, I'll answer them on his behalf eventually to keep this thread going. Questions: 1. So you finally got your drivers license after several tries. . Have you driven to any place interesting? 2. You have a low opinion of Janet Jackson. I have a low opinion of Janet Jackson. Can you talk a little bit about your low opinion of her? I love that shit. 3. Briefly describe the photowhore threads. 4. Why have you stopped posting? 5. Finally, have you ever used an alter account for shits and grins, or for other purposes? First of all, it's Billy, not Billie. 1) Nowhere really, no. Is everywhere or anything interesting if you're interested? I'm not a philospoher, I'm an entertainer. I'm not the right person to ask that, I'm a silverfish. Liverpool's the furthest. I dig Scousers, the thieving, feral, paedophile bastards. The only species you can get away with generalising. The Cavern doesn't have a Bunnymen brick though, and that sparked something off in my belly. I had a fair wee drink inside me and wandered into a kebab shop nearby and basically blamed them. Fucking Cilla Black has a brick. Fucking Mel C from the Spice Girls has a brick. Jesus' infinite cunt, even Ringo Starr has a brick. Thankfully they couldn't understand a drunken Glaswegian slur, so just smiled and nodded like I was a smoking monkey. is there anything more profound than a smoking monkey? I like driving fast. It said tear along the dotted line on my licence and that's what I always try and do. 2) Janet Jackson? I'll not dig too deep and just say she's a whore to the shallowest rewards of infamy and the worst excesses of free-market capitalism. Just like all her brothers and sisters, father, mother, great-grandfather...all the way back to the first flash of lighting into that boiling pond. Only monsters are similteniously nurished and repulsed by Ruper Murdoch's wallpaper-paste spunk. It will burn through their bellies but staves off their disgusting hunger for our love and admiration. No intelligence or self-awareness. Certainly not an artist, of what i define as an artist. She and her production team create aural wallpaper for morons. A black and white picture of a monkey smoking a cigarette has more artistic credability than any of her earthworm party chord progrssions, ham-on-the-bone harmonics, her oh-so-wild-and-crazy-and-free-and-audacious-and-daring lyrics, her fat fucking skinny fat skinny fat arse. A demon. They'll look back in 2000 years and wonder why we didn't blast her family into fuckknowswhere in an Ark-like rocket full of our nuclear weapons and newspaper barons. A silver spoon, a child's balloon, eclipses both the sun and moon. 3) 4) I haven't, I just don't post anywhere near as much as I used to. I won't lie and say I'm too busy. Life's too long at 30, even. You cam cram everything great about conciousness into your teenage years. everything else is just repition, disappointment then an infinity or nothingness after the no doubt hideously painful end of your parasite existance. The truth is - the girl I live with thinks I'm as mad as a balloon of nostrils for liking Prince, never mind conversing with other people who like (or have liked) Prince. I don't mid being thought of as mad, but she tells people who tell other people...you get the idea. Chinese whispers, my hairsytle, two and two is eight in Scotland and I'd be burnt out of my home as a paedophile, or worse, a homosexual. I miss a lot of folk though, but like I say, most of my pals are not around anymore or they're just lurking wondering who the fuck everyone is. 5) No alters, I can barely muster the energy to go through to the fridge for another can of lager. I always loved your posts, you are one of the funny clever orgers that should post more. Imago and Number23 posting on the same thread is org heaven

2. What are your closest friends like? 3. Do you actually like the weather in Scottland? Be honest now. 4. What album have you played the most this month? 5. Is Graffiti art? 1) Not a lot these days, to be honest. Read, watch TV, bore my other half on the horrors of capitalism, drink some wine, smoke the odd fag. I'm winding down until death. I've done everything I ever wanted to do. I really wasn't meant for this age, I'm bored out my tits. Too much input. Too much neon. Too many absolute cunts without a clue. 2) I'd say there were about three people I'd call close friends. I've known them forever. You don't make real friends after 16, the walls go up and the curtains down. Aquaintinces, pals, lovers, aye - but not apple pie and ice cream folk. The brightest stars become the blackest holes, that's pretty obvious. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. All the clitches are true. I'm drawn to the broken-hearted and hateful, I suppose, and there's always a reason. Those sensitive, shining wee ones you see playing for hours with two stones or a piece of mud, lost in dinosaurs and dreamscapes. 3) I prefer sunshine to rain. I'm not Morrissey. Morrissey's not even Morrissey, though. Although I agree that suicide is a heroic act, the ultimate act of discipline and bravery. 4)First of all, can i say that I-Pod shuffle is for braindead fastfood fuckhead thrill-me-now instant coffee loving cunts. The album exists because that's the artist's INTENT, the tapestry of their latest vision. Who are YOU to fuck with that? Either have the discipline to listen to the artwork whole or fuck off back to the Top Ten. Do you just look at the corner of a painting? In answer to you question, the album I've been listening to most this month (vinyl, with headphones, glass of quality merlot and a fag) is Rufus Wainwright's Poses. It's lush as Dracula's cloak. Either that or Richard Hawley's new one. Absolutely stunning art. What a beautiful, bitter creature. Obviously a Bournville man. The new Roy Orbison. 5)Of course. Every post on this thread is art. The way I walk is art. A good cup of team is art. Anything conciously created to be observed is art. However, there is always an exception which proves the rule and Michael Bolton was that exception.

You obviously have a small circle of friends as you said. But when you meet somebody new, what instantly turns you on to them or off of them? 1) Because he's still alive. He's the McDonalds of misery. He's been selling that product so long he doesn't even know if it was a projection of some perceived self or was really him anymore. His lyrics these days refelct how hazy and unsure he feels of himself - that's why the product is suffering. He's a businessman, a self promoter who has looked in the mirror so long that he's developed tunnel vision to everything else, like most stars. The Smiths lyrics however, show an incredibly defined and - cynically I'm now sure - fully conceived character who is an obvious magnet for the disaffected, lost and lonely. Getting back to the first sentence in this paragraph, if 'Smiths Morrissey' was a real person, he would have killed himself. No-one's that crestfallen over a bad cup of tea. No-one that amusing when truly miserable. He'd look shit with a cigarette too. I think he's as bad as KFC, worse even, because at least they know they're selling shit. Stephen still thinks he shits Milk Tray, I'm sure. 2) Morrissey. Don't get me started on Robert Smith. 3)I've not heard any or her stuff. Everything is hack, though. Like i've said before, you output your input with new arrangements. 4)I sometimes go out for a pint. 5)I dunno. Probably something I don't understand like pheremones. It used to be haircuts, but i've matured a bit since then. I get on with all sorts of people. I meet all the great and the good and the evil and the sick in my job. I guess my own projection of self through these answers and all my 10,500 posts on this site would be one of a self-obsessed, nihistic misanthrope. But I'm actually welcoming, friendly and open. I laugh my arse off. I like to think I'm good company. I really should update my online personality, i suppose, or run the risk of becoming as irrelevant and offputting as Morrissey. However, I cant help but conciously put people off me a little bit. I don't really want to be liked, I want it to be an effort, because anything worth anything always is.

The first being the currently shallow, superficial and vaccuous nature of the artist which brought us all here. The second being the nature of generational regression. Our social abilites were founded and formed in a pre-internet world. this was all new to us at one point and we had to develop our old world ways of thought and expression into this new form - the new generation don't have this problem and were always of the digital communication age. They only seem vaccuous and innane because that's the culture of today. We can only reflect our environment. Fuck i feel auld! (But don't look a day over 21, ladies). [Edited 12/12/09 9:00am]
