I won't go into other anatomical anomalies. I am very dubious that a 3 week 'cut' would be sufficient to drop the amount of body fat which you report to have also. [Edited 12/12/09 13:49pm] oh, look. We can share, discuss and entertain ourselves or each other. If somebody puts something up here and tries to pass it as truth then its only human nature to examine and question it. Similarly, If you want to post an image of your bare chest them that is your right, too! The image in question was quite obviously false to me and for that reason I pointed it out. Perhaps it insulted my intelligence on a subject i know an awful lot about - health and body building. I was contacted by the orger very soon after my post was made. They 'offered' to send me an un-cropped image to prove that it was indeed them. Although this was not necessary and not asked for, I said 'sure'. It never materialised. Again, I consider that a insult to both my intelligence and knowledge within this field and, as such, lines yourself up for a fall. Heck, its an insult to everybodys intelligence here. Hence the second post i made. Which I must add, i don't consider to be malicious either. This wasn't a personal attack on anybody. I simply made an observation regarding something somebody was trying to pass as truth. The moronic thing would have been to see it was false and not question it. The initial post was not malicious in its intent. It simply questioned something, in a respectful manner. had the orger proved to me that I was wholly wrong in my observations (as they said they would) then I would have apologised profusely. Your post might not have had malicious intent, but it certainly sucked a bit of joy out of an otherwise light and fun thread. If you felt your intelligence was being challenged you could have tried to resolve this by way of orgnote rather than trying to call someone (who never contributes negatively to the site) out publicly. But oh well, to each their own. I guess you felt it a pressing issue. Ok, then, back to ti-tays. | |

However, it ceases to be fun if people start googling for images of perfect bodies and passing them off as their own. It could then start a photo arms race, where people are posting pics of other people's bodies, thus, in effect, lying through their teeth in order to "keep up". And where's the fun (or for that matter the sanity) in that? The good thing about this thread has been not just the buff bodies and perky tities that we can drool over, but also the willingness of guys and girls to post pics of their less than perfect frames in a spirit of not taking themselves too seriously. When things don't require attention we usually keep them to ourselves. No one posts anything with the intention of it going unnoticed.
On a thread of this nature I don't see the importance of a pic being real or not. IDontBelieve...I totally agree about one of the nice things being the willingness of us with less-than-perfect bods to post and enjoy one another, but the pic wasn't being used to sell us a workout tape or diet plan for goodness sake. In the wider scheme of things (war, hunger, poverty etc) of course it isn't important, but one has to ask why someone would go to the time and trouble of finding and using someone else's pic if they didn't feel pressured to compete with others. More so, given that his "before" pic showed him with a physique which most guys would be reasonably proud of. I must admit, I also noticed similar discrepancies to 3121. For one, I thought the muscle attachment points were different, and I also thought that 3 weeks was nowhere near enough time to put on that amount of muscle and to lose what to me, looked like about 8% - 10% body fat. I didn't say anything because (a) I'm new here, and (b) I didn't want to be mean. However, for me, it did have the potential to rather spoil the mood of the thread. It probably had no such effect on those who thought it was genuine, so I am talking purely subjectively. Anyhoo - let's not overanalyze things eh? I tend to agree with you on the main issue, which is "Let's have some more TTs!"
