Shit, I've just seen pics from a Canon EOS-1D Mark IV and that thing is crazy. Turns night into day, if you so desire. Not much noise at 12800 iso either, considering how insane that is to begin with.

Wait, D3000 is basically a replacement for the D40x and D60? I'm confused with the way Nikon does this. D5000 is supposed to be between a D60 and a D90, so equivalent to a D80? When I upgrade I'm looking for something akin to what the D90 is now, or whatever is one step below the future incarnation the D7000.

p.s. Emilia do you have Nikon Capture NX? If not, you've got to get it (just download it as a torrent or somethig ). Once you start using colour control points you'll be so addicted. Such an awesome, easy to use piece of software. I hardly use photoshop these days for the bulk of what I do to images.
