Can anyone recommend a great digital camera that shoots great pics AND shoots in HD resolution video?

D5000 does. Not sure what you're looking at price range.. D90 does as well, but thats a hefty penny.

Canon T1i Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |

That's a nice shot, Emily (can I call you Emily? )
So jealous! Still stuck with my D40x and I won't be getting something new for another couple of years, I think. Next one will be a step up to around this level though. Let us know how you get on with it. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

Shit, I've just seen pics from a Canon EOS-1D Mark IV and that thing is crazy. Turns night into day, if you so desire. Not much noise at 12800 iso either, considering how insane that is to begin with. MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

Wait, D3000 is basically a replacement for the D40x and D60? I'm confused with the way Nikon does this. D5000 is supposed to be between a D60 and a D90, so equivalent to a D80? When I upgrade I'm looking for something akin to what the D90 is now, or whatever is one step below the future incarnation the D7000.
Must. Stop. Reading. About. New. Cameras. Need to wait! MY COUSIN WORKS IN A PHARMACY AND SHE SAID THEY ENEMA'D PRANCE INTO OBLIVION WITH FENTONILS!!

p.s. Emilia do you have Nikon Capture NX? If not, you've got to get it (just download it as a torrent or somethig ). Once you start using colour control points you'll be so addicted. Such an awesome, easy to use piece of software. I hardly use photoshop these days for the bulk of what I do to images. I have yet to perfect the technique really? what lenses have you got? I got the standard Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G, 28mm f/1.8D, and the 50mm f/1.8D all in a trade with my brother. I know the 50mm is the way to go but I've always been a little put off by the lack of zoom. But taking a few shots just now of the dog - yeah it is a sweet lens
