so I bought a Playstation 3 yesterday, Merry Christmas kids! I also picked up Little Big Planet for my daughters because I heard it's so great and kid-friendly.

So where do I go from here? What games do you love??

I personally like shooters - I know I'll eventually get Medal of Honor: Airborne (also a WW2 nut) and GTA 4 (raising hell is always good). Uncharted also looks promising.

But I guess I did get this for FAMILY time, so....

Batman: Arkham Asylum
probably the most impressive superhero game ever made. STUNNING.

Assassin's Creed 1 & 2.
get them BOTH.

Uncharted 1 & 2. get them both.

Star Wars - The Force Unleashed.
the coolest SW game ever made, and i just saw the trailer for part 2 and it looks incredible!!!!

was the best superhero game till Arkham came along.

Flower
because it was incredibly unique, moved me to tears, absolutely profound and has a very relevant message. Of course, it's fun to play too.

Metal Gear Solid 4
Innovated the action genre with an incredible story, addictive gameplay, unbelievable graphics, brilliant orchestral score, fantastic boss fights and a 90 minute epic ending to a great, albeit, stretched out series.

Heavy Rain (Release in Feb)
This will change the way anyone will perceive games again. A total new genre what can be dubbed Interactive drama but, that may also understate it.

White Knight Chronicles (Release in Feb)
A huge scale new RPG from the makers of Dragon Quest Vlll with innovative online components.

Demon's Souls
Game of the year 09 to many more arthouse lovers. Truly a benchmark. The game was so good, it rekindled a critics passion for gaming after losing it to a bland last 5 year for him.

The Last Guardian (Release next year}
From the team that gave us Shadow of the Colossus. Destined to be one of the most artistic achievements in gaming history. The trailer alone was enough to secure that.

LittleBigPlanet
One of the greatest games ever made. Began a whole new genre, "Play, Create, Share'. I can't tell you with enough words the joys of this game. Its ever expanding too.

MAG (Release Jan)
The biggest online shooter, ever. Modernwarfare will not stand a chance. 256 players in one match at any one time...enough said.

I too recently bought a PS3 and, as I was then short on money, a 2nd hand copynof CoD4.... The single player is ace but I figured I'd never play multiplayer online as it didn't float my boat.
