Since it seems that 80's nostalgia is back. Why not???
This is my favorite drama/detective show of all time. I'm referring to the show that TV Guide once said "one of the shows that changed televisison". Miami Vice lead characers are Sonny Crockett played by Don Johnson and Ricardo Tubbs played by Philip Michael Thomas. This show was so fly. The only problem was ,back in the 80's during my high school years, the show aired on Friday nights. Now Friday nights were my party nights so until I got me a VCR, I had to simply miss the show. I'm currently trying to get ALL the episodes of this great show.

The one episode I'm still trying to get on tape is the 2 part episode where Sonny Crocketts gets amnesia and he becomes Brudett{an alter ego of himself who becomes a drug dealer},who eventually turns on his partner Tubbs. The very first episode{the Miami Vice movie} was good too. I loved "The Prodigal Son" episode where Crockett and Tubbs goes to New York. This episode includes Glenn Frey's hit song "You Belong To The City". Speaking of hit song, music was always used very effectively in Miami Vice episodes. I used to always dig the unorthodox endings of all the episodes as well. And many celebrities appeared on the show, from Phil Collins to Miles Davis.

This show was awesome. Anybody else out there a fan of this show?If so, what are some of your favorite Miami Vice episodes?

I never watch it.

I watched it once because I was forced to by a friend who told me what a great show it was. Ugh.

What I couldn't stand was all the preps in high school who decided it was cool to go with the Miami Vice look and wear pink shirts and white blazers. *shudder*

I used to watch it when I was a kid,my mum had a thing for the guy with the bad skin and moustache

Remember the episode with Appolonia in it ?

i don't remember "miami vice" that well, cuz in its heyday i wuz only like 5 or 6...i remember lovin the theme song when i wuz little, and i still do.
