Matthew Starr.

LoL

Maybe it was meant to be...

Gooey, who was Matthew Starr?

Matthew Star was this guy in highschhool, that had telekinetic power.
If I remember correctly...

He wore this baseball jacket, which already was enough to get my attention.
Back then I was easily pleased...

PS
Checked GOOGLE, which came up with this;
Matthew Star - Deposed prince from the planet Quadris exiled to Earth until the day he could regain control of his world that was overthrown by extraterrestrial tyrants. Disguised as a teenage student from Crestridge High School, Matthew Starr (Peter Barton) developed an arsenal of strange powers which included telepathy, telekinesis, transmutation and astral projection. With his guardian, Walt Shepherd (Louis Gossett, Jr.) Matthew struggled with the responsibilities of growing up and with the occasional threats from outer space assassins on the sci-fi series THE POWERS OF MATTHEW STAR/NBC/1982-83.

PS PS

And this is a cute site; he looks better NOW than he did then....

The review made the movie seem so important, it was quite well written, for a movie that could be described with far less detail.

I remember watching that movie when I was a kid... I was a HUGE Kiss fan... I mean H U G E ... and I hated it. I thought it sucked. That is really saying something because I was just about the biggest Kiss fan in the universe. :LOL:

There were these two guys in high school, who were also huge fans...one of Gene Simmons, and the other of Peter Criss.

One Halloween, they dressed up as them...with the platforms and everything! lol It was true to the costume! They used platform shoes, cardboard, and paint. They looked awesome! I wish I had that pic to share, as I believe you would have appreciated it.

I was always a big fan of Ace, as I am a guitarist and was already trying to play as a kid... next in line was Gene, then Paul, then Peter...

I never tried to dress up as Kiss though... they were my heroes when I was a kid, I swear to the universe. biggrin
