Man do I need help-and yes I've googled it-so much I either have brain overload or freeze.....I'll explain

Recently I've started downloading movies-and video's. Recently cuz my old pc couldn't do it. So-I now have a few-but I can't seem to transfer em' to be able to watch downstairs on my home cinema

I've got super c.Tried converting to dvd compliant and seem to get audio only. I actually find the program confusing-but I may have over read stuff on various programs-and its all mushed in my head.

My first sucess was the wonderful Lotus TV TRW . Cuz of this i got image burn-which works well-but this release was already converted and dvd ready.

All the stuf i now have is in avi format and super c does not seem to work for me

is there a better free prog i should be using? Where am I going wrong?
