So... I just got through watchin Mr. Bean's Holiday and I just had to search for this man on youtube.
While lookin for interviews, I came across this (seems like an old clip):



I grew up watchin this man's funny clips but then he went off the face of my earth I thought he died.
Glad to know he's still alive and still pokin our funny bone.

if you're from the UK and you're old enough, you've known of Rowan since about 1979 or so. sure wish he'd do another BlackAdder...

He's brilliant

Ya know, I've always found his "physical comedy" to be abit silly.

But somebody(I think PricelessHo) introduced me to an old sitcom of his from the 80s I think, set in the Victorian era, I cracked up so hard when I watched the couple of clips from it Can't remember for the life of me what that show titled though.

He has a wry sense of humor when he's not trying too hard.

most Americans know him as Mr Bean. i try to tell them that he is even funnier when he is actually allowed to talk...

I could never watch Mr Bean...I found it really hard to watch.
The Blackadder series are legendary though.

I've only been exposed to portions of the show which explains why I'm clueless about it.

BlackAdder christmas is brilliant, and hopefully they'll show it this holiday season.

I wasn't a big fan of Blackadder WW1, although the last scene is touching.
The first Blackadder also, not high up there for me, but the rest...brilliant.

I met him a few years ago and I'm afraid 2 say he came across as a pompus, arrogant and conceited knobhead.

All I was trying 2 do was 2 get him 2 sign a visitors book 4 security reasons and he went off on one at me. He said (and I quote.) "Don't U know who the f@ck I am?" and I replied "Yeah, U're the wank@r off the telly." Things got a little heated from there so in the end I asked him 2 leave.

2 be honest though I've grown up with Rowan Atkinson and I've never found him very funny with the notable exception of "Blackadder" which is hilarious and a classic but thats more down 2 the excellent writing of Richard Curtis and Ben Elton the men who wrote "The Young Ones".

I just remember him doing this bit with a chair, trying not to fall off the chair.

The Mr. Bean bit where he makes a sandwich in the park...
