It's hard to tell from the video who was in the ambulance but it didn't look like Tiger's mom. It looked like Elin or maybe Elin's mom.

Elin has a twin sister, so if it wasn't Elin driving the Escalade, that could have been who was driving the Escalade.

I hope everyone is OK.

I don't think Tiger Woods will ever win another major. Maybe not even another tournament.

This guy is MESSED UP.

Nah, winning cures all sins in the public eye. And whatever else he may be, he's still the greatest golfer ever (whatever that means) and this scandal hasn't diminished those skills. Now the endorsements . . . that's another can o' worms. hmmm

True! nod He woulda been the one going into the hospital at 3 am after I heard and saw this Wal-Mart trick talk about fucking in MY house while I was pregnant. I don't understand how they're in the SAME house for almost 2 weeks and we ain't heard a peep. There's no way my man would risk his safety by staying under roof with me with all this BS coming out on an hourly basis. Best believe he woulda vacated DAYS ago. punch

Yeah, but last I checked, he didn't commit a crime. He's just another in a long line of celebrity ho chasers(Bill Clinton, JFK, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Hugh Grant, Elliot Spitzer, etc., etc., etc.....)

And I'm glad Elin's family is there to help her.

she should not be alone with him....for his sake!

He's not the greatest golfer ever. Right now he's behind Jack Nicklaus, Bobby Jones and probably Ben Hogan. He was on pace to be the greatest ever, but if you cut it off as of today, he is not the greatest golfer of all time.

And I don't think now that he's ever going to catch Nicklaus.

I'm also not talking about "winning curing everything", I'm talking about whether or not he will win again.

Golf is all about what goes on between the ears. I think Woods is one messed up man. Before all this, he had the greatest ego in the world, which gave him the best will to win around.

But that ego is gone now. I guarantee you there at least two women in his house telling him he's not a man 24/7. And you know as well as I do that he's going to be hearing that the rest of his life. Not from everyone, of course, but there is no way he's going to avoid hecklers where ever he goes - especially on the golf course.

I don't think he can rebuild the ego that's needed for his exceptional will to win in time to catch Nicklaus.

He will sooo match and surpass Jack Nicklaus' career. He's only 33 and has a long career ahead. If Tigger's shown us anything with this mess is that he's quite capable of compartmentalizing and focusing when it comes to his game. He's been juggling all these hos and lying to his wife for years with ZERO affect to his game. When his father died he didn't slow down one bit.

He'll do the same with this scandal. He may even be better because right now the only place he has any control is on the golf course. He's been a machine for so long I think he'll revert to that mindset on the course because it's safe. Kobe did it while facing rape charges. It didn't slow his game down at all. I'll give Tigger a year or two to see how he does before jumping to the conclusion he's done. hmph!

Woods' Mother-in-Law In Stable Condition
December 8, 2009

Tiger Woods' mother-in-law is said to be in stable condition after being taken by ambulance from the Woods' Florida home early Tuesday morning.

Orange County Fire officials say a 911 call came in from Woods' mansion at 2:36 a.m. and a patient was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, the same hospital where Woods was treated for facial lacerations after he crashed his SUV outside his home last month.

The patient was later reported to be Barbro Holmberg, the mother of Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren.

Hospital spokesman Dan Yates says Holmberg was admitted early Tuesday suffering from stomach pain.

Holmberg recently arrived in the U.S. to be with her daughter, who has reportedly been under intense pressure since Woods was involved in a mysterious crash on Nov. 27.

In that incident, Woods' SUV rammed into a fire hydrant and a tree. Although there were rumours that a domestic incident sparked the crash, Woods refused to speak to police.

Police did charge the golfer with careless driving, and handed him a US$164 fine and four demerit points on his driving record.

Two days later, Woods released a statement on his website in which he admitted to letting his family down with what he called "transgressions." But, he did not confirm allegations he had been involved in extramarital affairs.

That statement was released hours after the gossip magazine Us Weekly posted a voicemail message on its website in which Woods is heard pleading with a woman to remove her name from the greeting on her voicemail, and warns that his wife may call her. Us claimed the voicemail was left on the phone of Los Angeles cocktail waitress Jaimee Grubbs.

Several celebrity news outlets are reporting that Nordegren recently moved out of the couple's home and moved into another nearby home the couple also owns.

Woods, the world's top-ranked golfer, has not appeared publicly since Nov 27.

Exactly. The only thing a pro athlete owes the fans is to give his all on gameday, nothing more, nothing less. Signing autographs, being nice to fans is extra - they don't have to do it if they don't want to.

Nickalus won his last major at age 46, and I think that's the oldest ever-major winner (Tom Watson got SO CLOSE though this year!). Sure Woods is in great shape but as Graycap will tell you, golf isn't a sport so what good do muscles do you when you're 50?

He won't care who's rooting for him but he WILL hear the comments and there WILL be a lot of them. Ever been to a golf tournament? Yeah, they sell beer and booze at 'em.

And I guarantee you this - at some crucial point in a major, there will be a golfer that wants what Tiger has, and will say something to Tiger on Sunday at about the 14th hole like, "Hey Tiger, I saw a real hottie waitressing at Denny's this morning and I gave her your number. Hope you don't mind".

If Tiger can put that kind of stuff behind him and still close it out, then I guess hat's off to him.

But golf is funny. There was a golfer who lost a US Open when he was asked by his competitor "Do you breathe in or out when you strike the ball?" LOL.

hmmm Nah, cuz there were rumors floating about A-Rod for YEARS and he hasn't been the story that Tigger's been since childhood. Also, Tigger is without question the best golfer in the world and has been for over a decade. A-Rod is a good baseball player, among many, who didn't live up to his potential until he FINALLY won this year after YEARS of playing. Everyone outside of golf fans know who Tiger Woods is but A-Rod is not that well-known IMO if you don't follow baseball or sports in general. Just compare their endorsements. There's a reason T-dub earns so much in endorsements it's because his reach goes far beyond golf.

Also, Tigger cultivated this squeaky clean image which A-Rod never had, at least not on that level. And with A-Rod it was just a few skanks plus Madonna on his list. With T-dub I think this is the tip of the icebert. This is all just a perfect storm of circumstances right now, plus people love to build up icons only to tear 'em down. He believed the hype. shrug

Well, A-Rod still is projected to break Barry Bonds' home run record so I would think that ranks him among the all-time greats in baseball if that happens.

But I meant the whole steroids scandal with A-Rod and he was able to put it all behind him, block out the boos and heckling from fans and still be successful this year.

Again, no one outside of baseball fans care or are aware of him. But, yeah, I think ALL great athletes are able to compartmentalize and focus when it's time to. Shit, I was in Dallas during the Cowboys heyday and worked for several of them. You would never know the crazy ass shenanigans those clowns were up to based on their production on the field. That's just part of being an elite athlete. shrug

Well A-Rod benefitted from the fact that 1) he does not play an individual sport like golf, 2) a number of sports people want so badly for him to pass Barry Bonds even though it's now been proven they both have a histry of steroid use, and 3) A- Rod was just the lastest in big name baseball players that had tested positive for steroids.

The irony with the Tiger scandal is that some people are now routing for him not to break Jack Nickalus' record, but Jack was just as bad a booty hound just as Tiger. It just so happens that Jack came along during a time before the internet and blogs, text messages and 24 media coverage. Jack wasn't called "The King" for nothing. He could keep philanderering out of the media spotlight.
