Where would you like to travel to in the world?

Where would you most like to travel to in the world? Have you already been where you wanted to go? Are you planning to go to your dream destination already? I have yet to go to North America. I would very much like to see New York. I'm also planning to travel on the Trans Siberian Express from China into Mongolia then onto Moscow, Russia. Then making my way back to the UK through Europe.

You?

I'm planning to do some big traveling this coming year. Hoping to visit Croatia, France, and England, but I'm also dying to get to Russia, Poland, and Denmark.

And I've always wanted to spend a week on the Faroe Islands. I think that would be fun.

I loved the few days I spent in Paris this year and would really like to go back as soon as possible. mushy

As for places I haven't seen yet, Tokyo sounds very cool. I'd need a translator with me of course.

EVERYWHERE POSSIBLE.

I'm trying to figure out some kind of job that allows me to travel. I don't care much about income, as long as it affords me enough for the odd plane ticket and the freedom to pick up and go whenever I like. Some kind of work I can do off a laptop so I can take my work with me instead of being tied down to an office or store would be ideal.

It could be very likely that my experience at Versailles love outside of Paris is coloring my memories of the city.

I can understand your sentiments. My friend said the same thing before I went, that she loved all of Europe except for Paris. And admittedly when compared to London or Amsterdam, it was a little dirtier and grungier--almost like New York. I took a free walking tour of http://www.newparistours.com/ when I was there which briefly showed me a lot of the awesome stuff there is to see and made me want to go back and spend some additional time in each place. The architecture, the cafés, even the subway were all so different and exciting to me. Maybe it was just the novelty of being there for the first time. lol

And you can't beat walking around at night under the Eiffel Tower and down the Champs-Élysées while listening to Serge Gainsbourg on your iPod. mushy
